Okay here are the results of my tests:Power consumption: please comment on which particular abilities are costing too much power, and I'll add them to this list. 1. Draw Strength and Siphon Strength (aside from the fact they both do not stack properly) use way too much power. app2 draw strength uses 74 power for only 36 seconds. This is way too much power for a level 30 spell, especially for the benefit gained. To put it into perspective my MASTER 1 level 40 dreadful wrath that does 464-567 damange, interupts and slows by 20% only cost 69 power. Siphon strenght is not much better; app2 siphon strength uses 86 power for 36 seconds. Suggested solution: cut the power cast by 1/2 and extend the time a bit. 2. Our Coil lines (Grim Coil, Vile coil, Wicked Coil) use way to much power for the damage done. Grim coil app4, a level 22 spell, use uses 69. And vile coil adept 1 uses 109 power. Sony's own web page says they are supposed to have MUCH lower power costs, 30 and 47 respectively. Suggested solutions: make the power cost those list on the web page and give the spell 1 more tick (ie. increase it from 4 ticks to 5) 3. Caress line (tainted and cursed) I feel is just a bit too high in power cost, especially the 51 power for adept 1 tainted caress which is a level 24 spell. Suggested Solution: knock 5 off the power cost of each. 4. Grim Sword and Plague Sword I feel are also just a bit too high in power cost. Suggested solution: knock 10 off the power costsHarm touch: Harm touch is widely seen as underpowered for a 1/2 hour recharge timer. It is commonly resisted entirely too much and does not scale as the shadowknight levels. A reduction in the timer on Harm Touch would seem to be the appropriate solution. Agreed HT does not scale enough at higher levels. When a assassin can drop a 2.3k shot on a mob fight after fight, out BEST HT, which in in the 800 range when you factor in partial resists, is like a love peck, especially on a ^^ mob. Suggested solution: drastically scale this up and make it unresistable.Infernal Pact: please comment on the status of this. The ward seems fine to me, but can we confirm that the lifetap element still isn't working? Confirmed 3/11/05 - life tap on adept1 does work, however it does not even come close to the stated 10%. Rough testing put it about 2%Error messages: Several Shadowknight abilites currently spam the chat window with messages. Regardless of whether or not Shadowknights are mounted, the following three "update messages" occur repeatedly:- You cannot do that while in this form. (This occurs while any illusion, namely Lucan's Pact, is worn.)
- You cannot do that while sitting. (This occurs while sitting, camping or otherwise.)
- You cannot do that, the water is too deep. (This occurs while wading/swimming through water.)
Confirmed 3/11/05 - spam still existsSorrow: Is supposed to add an extra attack and an AoE disease DoT, as current the DoT is non-functional. Actually i dont' want them to add the AoE to it. it is nice as is. AoE would only prevent you from using it with crowd control for piddly little exta damage Draw strength: If upgraded past Apprentice 1, this ability stops working alltogether. Confirmed 3/11/05 - apprentice 2 does work by itself but it does not stack with our self-buff at that level range, Vigor our Trust.Swarming spirits: This spell is supposed to be an AE lifetap, at current it does not lifetap, and only effects 4 mobs within range. Confirmed 3/11/05 - does not life tap.Dreadful Wrath: Does not incease movement speed of the target as stated in the description. Please comment on the status of this ability. Confirmed 3/11/05 - Spell description does not say "increase movement speed" of the target. It says to "slow target by X%" and it does in fact snare them.Dreadful Wrath: The spell icon does not dissapear form maintained spell window. Confirmed 3/11/05 - still not disappearing all the time.
Add to the List: Siphon StrengthIf upgraded past Apprentice 1, this ability stops working alltogether. Confirmed 3/11/05 - apprentice 2 does work by itself but it does not stack with our self-buff at that level range, Contract of Shadows.
