Well it really depends on how good your weapon is plus your attributes vs. the level of your spells and how good you are with them (In other words if you are using the heroic oportunities asap, while spamming everything else in between
. I have some of the best duel wield items, 2H items, max strength, and all spells ad3 or better, and I have found most of my damage comes from CA's. Now if you run out of power (which you never want to do in case you lose aggro), then obviously your weapon.
