I see a use for the mask. It can be rather nice once you drop to 500 or something spelldamage after hoarding all the crits/reuse and stuff like that. Unless it acts like vine wrapped boots and bugs...

Getting 7 crits on 3 pieces was probably too much compared to the other mage sets but changing it to +max power and adding a magma seed focus to it made it a major nerf. Could do with some useful...
