Starting the quest line in the Ruins is a good...

Starting the quest line in the Ruins is a good idea also.  If you find a decent group you can ding just about every hour.  It also gives you some gear to replace your starter gear.

Other than the above locations, I'd also say...

Other than the above locations, I'd also say Shakey's Farm in Rivervale..   If you have a MT in the upper 30's and a decent healer, you will get at least 1% a heroic kill..
