Last I heard from Ashalanne, she and her team were trying to get information on how the poll was manipulated so they could fix it. I still think an in game poll is the safest way...there is no way...

You have to read all the posts here about those polls. The first poll was manipulated like the second one, just not to the same extent...the poll needs to be made IN GAME to prevent cheating.

The 2003 Vegas Fan Faire had the highest attendance of any that SOE has had I believe. There were something like 3500 official attendees plus about 1000 more people who showed up just to hang out...

well...if there`is a way to cheat, it would appear that someone found it, but Ashlanne did say it was fine to rquest help from guild members and friends...there are very large guilds in EQ1 maybe...

the same thing was going on with the original poll too, just not so pronounced because there were many more choices..I beleive there is a post here poiting out the pitfalls of chosing the location...

I have my browser set up to refresh this page every 5 minutes, its not a refresh issue...it looks like someone has found a voting exploit....even creating "ghost" accounts cant make up that many...
