Also remember that any items with no-trade adorns...

Also remember that any items with no-trade adorns in them will still be no-trade after they are unattuned... unless you are wearing it when the patch happens and the adorn gets popped out.

I'm 99% sure there is smart loot in RoK, at least on the legendary stuff.  I carry around (as a guardian) a suit of ravaged onslaught and a suit of sanctification just so that crap doesn't drop...
