I agree, this is just way out of line with the rest of the game.  I can only imagine the hell this is going to be when more than one guild is ready to take on getting eyes.

I use hide illusion myself.  Still I don't use this spell ever, because of the fear proc.  I don't need it when I'm soloing and it groups it does more harm than good.
