Cleric and Shammy duo is the key. Once the mob is slowed and kept there, heals are easy to maintain and the shaman can spot heal or ward as they see fit. A second healer in a group is not required...

In beta some people that had their characters...

In beta some people that had their characters bumped to 50 had them. I have also seen a few screen shots of them riding them. Alahkazam shows a spirit steed horse whistle on items also.
