Thank god. I thought I was the only person in EQ2 who isn't horribly upset with this patch. There is a lot in there that improves the game from my perspective.

These spells fall under the same rules as buffs...

These spells fall under the same rules as buffs (they could be considered negative buffs).Therefore they cannot be used on npc's over a certain level, whereas DD's, dot's etc. are damage type spells...

I've seen a couple of vendors in Qeynos Harbour selling higher level spells, perhaps try one of them?ps. They are in the buildings near Fishes Alehouse, not outdoor vendors.
