dont think it makes a huge difference in end-game, im diggin my barb just cause he looks tuff, plus they get  +chemistry racial trait for your alchemy.

from what i read there was 1 random critical that casted a buff (could probably be cancelled) and another that did +1000 +1000, giving you the pristine...but BUT it would also grant u a rare raw...
