Same problem here, cannot zone.. I have to kill EQ2, wait 5 minutes, and try again. It even reported Mistmoore as being down for 30 seconds.

I haven't found a way to do a full file scan in the new launcher.I do like the fact that I can delete my EQ2 cache at a click of a button, though.
