But damage reductions work. So if we make AoE blockers into Damage Reductions, at least they will become a useful ability again since AoEs are close to being extinct in this game.

Yes. Since Tears of Veeshan there hasn't been any use of AoE blockers. <br /><br />They added that item in Rum Cellar to give a stat buff to AoE blockers to make them somewhat useful, but it didn't...
