<p>So i want to default my combat pets to their default names, just that i can't.</p><p>It says that leaving the naming bar empty in pet options and pressing accept defaults the pet name but it's not.</p><p>I *can* name them to something else, i just can't default them.</p><p>Anyone know if there's a way around this?</p>

<p>To reset your pets name to the default random names given, type "/petname" with nothing after it. It will give your pet one of the random default names once you summon it again.</p><p>Hope this is what you were after!</p><p><img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>edit: leaving the naming bar empty will reset it too, you will need to resummon your pet again for it to show!</p>

<p>That's the problem, it won't work.</p><p>I reset the name, resummon and the pet has one of the old names i had for it.</p>

<p>Did you set up your summoning spell on a macro that sets the name? If so, remember to remove the naming command from the macro.</p>
