For some reason after you set the new default blue ui, when you exit the game it reverts back to the red ui.

|

I'm still feeling my way around the whole new UI. Can you tell me where that setting is so I can try and replicate?

|

Im assuming they are speaking of the default ui background for windows now being red, and trying to change it back to blue using /loadui then selecting blue. I too am having an issue where when I choose blue the eq2 client crashes and I cannot revert back to blue either. lol the red gives me a headache terribly.

Oh, and it crashes EVERY time I try to change it.

|

OK cool. I did replicate the change not sticking after a logout. Looks like a /bug for that one. I wouldn't expect a crash though. Did you have a custom UI?

All default except eq2maps

|

Weird. Try this:

You may want to delete the following files and folders:

cache folder

eq2_recent.ini

eq2_default.ini

EverQuest2.exe

eq2.ini

Grab the files below and just move them out of the folder. That way if this doesn't work you can put them back and get your hotkeys, etc back.

Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.ini

Stationname_characters.ini

|

Ok that just prompted me for a 33hr d/l .. so put everything back lol not very helpful

|

Even hitting the Default button crashes client to desktop also btw
