We are having problems loging onto server to connect to splitpaw - started when swapping toons and got logon rejected error - relogin gets timeouts or logon rejected (took me 15min just to log into forums to report it as getting same errors logging onto forums)

suspect logon server down?

Same for me and my wife trying to log on to the Crushbone server.

Same here. AB server. Got a massive lag spike that turned into a massive lag plateau so I rebooted. No luck. Even logging on to the forums here is a dicey business; kept saying my password was wrong. Which it wasn't. EQ2 Players also knackered. Only way I found out if anyone else was having issues was through the 'Zam forums.

may be back?? wife logged in after about 30min or so...

Still down. I am getting a Login Server unavailable message.

Yeah getting the same thing. Unable to contact login server.

As am I for AB. Not sure what's going on.

Are you all using the Streaming Client or standard launcher?

Sending an email to our server folks to see what's up.

Standard EQII Launcher.

Ironically, I am a trial member with 2 days left who logged out of the game to subscribe and now can't get in lol

I use the streaming client and I have been unable to connect as well.

I am using the streaming client and I'm having the same problem. Saying it's unnable to connet to the login server. I'm on Mistmoore.

I'm using the Streaming Client, and I'm a non-trial.

I can't either

Streaming Client getting the following message: "Unable to contact login server. Please try again later."

having the same issues here unable to contact login server. how long has this been going on for now??? not sure if im using streaming or standard....im assuming streaming is the downloadable launcher when you get the trial???

Same message for me, streaming client.

Login down for me as well on AB server...streaming launcher (I believe?)

Same issues here. I didn't see this thread and started a new one which a few people replied to and said they were also having these issues. CS emailed it to OPs. Is there a way to get the standard launcher?

i dont think this is an issue between standard launcher and streaming launcher....guy with standard i having same issue

Frustrating, with such limited play time. After the EU server mix up I think I will just let the station manager do a download overnight

Bumped my son off his PC and logged in to my account fine (station launcher), 4 PC's here with EQ2 installed, the 2 with streaming clients are a no go. Seems to be the streaming client. We play as a family, so you can imagine how infrequently we can all get on.

I'm a sad Panda.

According to Technical Support, they have just a handful of tickets from folks reporting the issue, and all servers are up and populated. So, it's not a game server issue, sounds like possibly an odd glitch with log-in (session) servers. There's a ticket in the system so I'll keep an eye out for further correspondence from the Ops team.

Thanks for your patience everyone. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience.

I am on the Bizarre server and having the same issue. I was in and playing and logged out for two seconds to desktop and now can't get back in. Haven't for about 30 minutes.

When you go to the server page it shows a green light for the Bizarre server, but I receive an SOE error page when clicking on the link saying the page doesn't exist but yet I can get to other server pages.

I really hope this error is resolved very soon (like everyone else, I'm sure).

Mine just started, I was playing 1 acct. logged out to change accts and now cant get back on. Streaming Client here and it has the same error. Unable to contact log in server. Please Try agian Later.

same prob unable to connect on EU Storms, ihave streaming client too

Yes, I think they need a call, live chat or online ticket submitted to create a case number.

You can contact Tech Support one of these ways to have your case added to the queue: http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=10404

(It says M-F so I'm not sure if they answer calls or do live chat on the weekend, but you should be able to enter a ticket by logging into your Station account webpage, then clicking on the Open a Support Ticket tab.)

Is there any other way to log in (like maybe not using the streaming client)?

If so, how do you change the way you log in?

Thank you in advance.

Sareana, I moved your post to this thread since I forgot to lock the main news post.

Rothgar has posted a workaround in response to the main news post though: Log-In Issues - August 15, 2010
