So we got info as to why the servers are down...

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...=472663#5262221

I am just wondering if we can get any official word as to what the ETA is on them coming back up. It is 19.30 CET and thats start of prime time European players time. The log servers are also down atm so confirmation that you guys know about that is also appreciated.

We expect it to be a standard hotfix time, so about an hour.

I don't know what's up with the login servers, I'm trying to find out, but people are avoiding my traps.

It seems that our network is having some hiccups, which is affecting the login servers, amongst other things. I'll let you guys know more as soon as I do.

Wow, thank you Kiara for your VERY prompt reply. Appreciated.

So had a guildy mention that the servers would be coming down again for the hotfix, but I expected (at the very least) a server-wide broadcast message that they'd be coming down and to please log out immediately. Clearly this wasn't an issue for the folks who were unable to log into the game due to login servers being down...

Any idea why people who were in the game were suddenly booted without warning?

Thanks!

I would say I can't believe this but this is SOE and after the SWG fiasco I will believe anything out of them...

Heck they cant even get their info right our server announced 1 time the servers would be coming down at 10:15 pst and they just NOW came down and not a single warning other then the initial one.

No system message or anything ... just a sudden kick from game.

A little warning ingame about the servers coming down would have been really nice.....

Odd.

On Oasis, we got a broadcast around 10am that the server would be coming down for a hotfix at 10:15am..

Maybe you didn't get the memo..
