why was the faction for Rush writs faction with your trade skill society reduced from 500 to 300? WHy is the grind made worse than it already was?

It's always been 300 for the rush writs as far as I know. The reason is the turn around in doing the writs. If you have the raws you can do writ after writ after writ just staying where you are. (possibly not even leaving your guild hall of you have all of the amenities.)

My apologies to one and all. I did, most definitely misspeak. Tradeskill rush order writs went to 300 faction, not 500. The 500 faction was what happened to adventurer writs when they improved them. No excuses, I just made a mistake. Sorry.
