Just wondering if anybody has read any of these books, and if they give any good history about the lore of the EQ Universe. I am reading up on anything I can get my hands on, to better understand what and why some things are the way they are. If anyone has read these, and has some form of Chronological order to go by, that would be great. Thanks!

Are you talking about the Everquest Novels?

"Rogue's Hour" by Scott Ciencin

"Ocean of Tears" by Stewart Wieck

"Truth and Steel" by Thomas M. Reid

"The Blood Red Harp" by Elaine Cunningham

Are those what you're talking about? You aren't being too clear on just what you mean?

I started to read Rogue's Hour one time, I don't think I got past the first chapter or two. the rest I have never seen in bookstores.

Rogue's Hour is just... bad. Don't even bother reading that book.

They're all stand-alone books, so you can read them in any order. The other 3 are much more interesting, and reference EQ's lore much better.

Ocean of Tears focuses around Ataaltaal or whatever his name is from the Tarton's Wheel quest. Of course, the story itself is not canon to the lore, but still references parts that are.

Thats what I was figuring, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks a lot everyone!
