Hi there,

I have a newb question. I just hit level 10 last night and a message appeared about the AA's you get and to hit the "L" to go into the screen. Well, when I hit the "L", nothing happens. I tried logging out and back in and still hitting the "L" does nothing. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have the expansions? either DoF or KoS (can't remember which) gives you first tree and the EoF gives you the 2nd one, but you have to have the expansions to get AA's.

Its KoS that give you the 1st AA tree.

All I have is the original everquest 2 (it was sitting in my room since 2004 since I didn't have a computer that could handle it) and I can get AA. I figure it must have downloaded the expansions with my updates.

Which means you can either buy the TSO all in one pack now, or wait till the end of the year and buy the next expansion's all in one pack. This will activate all expansions up to that point, including the AA trees.

In this case i would at least consider buying the TSO pack as AA has become a major consideration in a character's development.

You'll also find that Timorous deep (part of RoK) is highly recomended as your next questing area.

You might also consider asking someone to send you a recruit a friend invite so you can start out with the trial instead. This would get you the expansions just from subscribing as well as a boat load of nice things including a nice cloak and such. You would have to create a new account though, but since you just started you would not be losing much progress.
