kinda a strange problem... But anyway, the typical reason a file can't be written to is it is marked as read-only in the properties. So, we'll check that. First: Open 'my computer' and go to c: drive, program files, sony, everquest 2. Then go to servername_charname_EQ2_uisettings.ini, and R-click on that file, and go to properties. There is a checkbox designated read-only. Verify that it is unchecked, if it has a check, remove it. Click ok. re-log in, see if it fixed. If not.... delete the .ini file. It will be re-created automagically, but you will have to reset your window positions/transparencies, etc). If it didn't have a check to begin with, you'll likely have to delete it anyway. Also make sure you have enough disc space (even though it's a smallish file, try to keep about 10-15% of any given drive empty, for swap-files/defrags, etc. Helps things run smoother. Delete all your <strike>pirated music</strike> <strike>[Removed for Content]</strike> pirated music, etc. -Drakhammor, 70 swash, everfrost
