<DIV>My guild killed LV last night for the first time so we thought the Alzid Prime would be cake.  Our raid leaders heard that he would heal himself 25-30 times then quit.  Well, he healed himself until he ran out of power and then some and still didn't quit.  What did we do wrong?  We tryed to stun him and land big nukes towards the percentage.  It didn't work and I heard that he doesn't heal at all after the dragon dies.  Was it a bugged encounter since we used Amnesia?  I just don't think EQ2 has 30 min encounters.  Any suggestions would help because we would really like to clear the zone and I think something was definately wrong with the fight.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Jai1 on <span class=date_text>08-21-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:45 AM</span>

You got unlucky with the "heal" bug. You could kill yourself on it, let it reset, then pull again and see if he dies. Otherwise, you sometimes get unlucky and get a bugged Alzid Prime that just won't stop healing, even if Lord Vyemm is dead. However if Lord Vyemm is dead, he should heal exactly 0 times.

However if Lord Vyemm is dead, he should heal exactly 0 times.<hr></blockquote>depending on the gear quality of the tank the healers can manage to keep the tank alive forever and then you can indeed end up with a never ending fight (even if vyemm's dead allrdy), and even if its possible to get around it with suicide and fight again i still think they should prevent it from happening right away. </div>

I know this sounds like voodoo but if you want to split them do this: Amnesia Prime and kill Vyemm. Do not loot Vyemm's box. Kill Prime. Get loot from both. This will work every time, you can rezz your coercer lol. I'm assuming you aren't trying to kill Prime first, that's just a road to headaches, much better to do Vyemm first or both simo. The last 5-10 times we killed Vyemm we did exactly as described above and it worked every time, zero healing from Prime. <div></div>
