No... dude... if you've done them, YOU GET THEM!

...any enemies for whom you have completed Lore and Legend quests will be added to the valid targets for your new, unified Mastery ability.

I hope with the changes to the Pets you are fixing God pets, specifically the fact that myself and many others are having is that when we summon the god pets the pet controls does not recognize the god pet, or for that matter my fullf pets as well but focus is god pets, as a pet and so I cannot control the pet. htus the pet follows me around everywhere and dies from every single AE, which forces me to never use my god pet since as a tank I am standing right in front of the mob all the timea nd my pet dies all the time.

Enemy Mastery I personally don't like because there are soem L&L quests that are greyed out which I need the auto updates from which if the mob is greyed makes it nearly impossible to get, please look into increasing the auto update body drops,I've been trying to do the Siren and the Nightblood one for like 6 months and still need auto updates.

The hats are most appreciated I know those classes have been really wanting them

No mention of Unrest so I'm guessing that is LU 32 or 33

Grimwell wrote:

No... dude... if you've done them, YOU GET THEM

I hope there's a pop-up associated with the new icon that enumerates the ones we keep, add, lose, or just don't have after the change. Some of those L&Ls are extremely time-consuming (if not impossible) to complete:smileysad: It would be nice when entering a new area if one could check and see if an incomplete or unstarted L&L would help with the area's MOB population:smileywink: Yes, there are L&L lists available out-of-game, but in-game access to the information would be very nice.Rho

ahh.. missed the most imortant part.. this is my 2nd main.. i did them on my first main.. so the statment is still true.. just i left out that this toon didnt do them

Grimwell wrote:

No... dude... if you've done them, YOU GET THEM!

...any enemies for whom you have completed Lore and Legend quests will be added to the valid targets for your new, unified Mastery ability.

While you are at it;

Why don't you make your players who connects from "non-4-languages-of-eq2players" browsers, to be directed default to English version? I mean I should not be searching for where to type /en/ in URL as I get always 404 error when I click on links here, should not I to read announcements?

Browser language recognition is a nice feature, but there is more than 4 type of languages in the world right? No, I don't ask for new language option, but I just want to be directed to English site if my browser language is different than French, German or English.

Message Edited by selch on 01-19-2007 04:06 PM

We also have a treat for those who prefer to show off their stylish houses. The Frostfell fireplaces proved to be incredibly popular with the terminally house-proud, so carpenters will soon be able to make fireplaces all year round!

--

While very good news for the Carpenters .. lol .. this is going to SERIOUSLY annoy those people that jammed their banks & houses full of the Fireplaces in prepration of price gouging their fellow players ....

*crosses her fingers* I am hopeful that the Fireplaces will be placed within the existing recipes climbing up in tiers and not just plopped into the 3rd tier items .. WITH .. tier approprite Status Reductions!

--------------------
Erollisi Day
I'm exicited about the new grab & tag for this event. I did like this way of competing much better than the Trick or Treat way of right clicking.

And, while it's not candy boxes & champage .. I'm looking forward to the Romantic Pillows and .. FLOWERS!!! Woot! More foliage for our houses!

Getting updates off of grey mobs is even easier than con mobs. All you need to do is group with a nuker, draw agro, and wipe them.

|
What I want to know is, will we be getting something new to choose at the levels we used to get enemy masteries, or will those levels simply be skipped over now?

|

Questions:

1) When does a player get this 'master' spell/CA as SOON as they done the L&L quest or when they hit level X? Wondering about it for new players who have yet to do any L&L

2) Will something replace what we get per level now that we don't get a master? like maybe another class feature (not talking about a master2 spell, I mean something for BEING that class, like ranger could get a + to range damage or a bonus to track Mobs farther than any scout or a list more to custom their classes)

3) Umm... Didn't hear anything about tradeskills yet... will we get anything for it.. or we gotta wait on 32?

4) I know this maybe a dumb questions but... how about some fun spells for 60 and 70? or...maybe fun spells for crafters? Ya know, like tailors could make balls of yarn , or have a weaponsmith 'demo' his newly created weapon(like monks demo their skills?)

5) ok last one.. um.. nothing to do with 31, but.. How about having them Carps make us MAIL Crates? Ya know.. boxes we could use to mail items.. could have boxes that has 2 slots, up to 8 slots, costing 25cp per slot to mail. That way we could sent alot of stuff to one person, and not have to sit there and mail, and mail, and mail, and mail and ETC...

Thanks!

Fireplaces year-round! {bounces}New warlock hat! (gotta admit the current one looks "cute" on a halfling, as it hides 80% of her face, though) {bounces more}Less mastery buttons on my alt army! {bounces more}More pillows, even if they're limited-run for the holiday {bounces more}Wheeeeeee!

The Enemy Mastery sounds great !

However........ what about creatures which you can get Mastery spells, for which there are no Lore & Legend quests ? Bugbear, Kobold, and Minotaur spring to mind.

Am I going to be losing my Minotaur Master Strike ? Are you adding a Minotaur Lore & Legend ?

MrrX's Character Journal

|

Oh... yeah forgot...

7) Will there be NEW L&L as I know some people don't wanna lose some of their masters cuz there is no L&L for those creatures...?

|
Fury specific hats!

Thanks for the teaser.

The change to Mastery strikes is excellent. Its a very logical UI change, and also I much prefer the game mechanics of learning mastery strikes as a reward for completing lore and legend quests. I say kudos all around.

Holiday stuff, I'm not really into, but I know many are, so I hope it's great.

Class hats.. doesn't effect me, but I know it will one day, and I know this was a major frustration for some people, so I'm happy to see it.

Please fix the bug that prevents npc combat animations from playing whenever they hit someone protected by a druid damage shield. :smileyvery-happy:

Actually I have been sending in about 3-5 /bug reports every night since I resumed playing, so I will be interested to see about those "spring cleaning" improvements you hint at.

I was wondering how long it was going to take before the Summoners dropped to their knees and thanked God :smileyvery-happy:.An idea for the devs regarding the enemy mastery skills, with these changes it's going to be a bit more difficult to keep memorized which creatures I have flagged for the skill :smileyhappy:. Perhaps the spell icon could turn red when your current target isn't going to be effected by it.

Just to confirm, any current master strikes that lack L&L collection quests will get them. The dev team has someone working on that right now. They may not make it in for GU31, but they will be done.I'll look into why a few of you can't follow the link. That's pretty strange.

I really hope these fury hats are sweet and not a mystic-esque clone. :smileyhappy:
