But didnt know if that would be the best choice.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since I know nothing about scouts. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And just about every board has negatives about their class.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh second question, when did the scout forum leave? For grouping, all scout classes are pretty good.  It really depends on what you want to bring to the table.  Predators bring some of the best DPS in the game, while Bards are really good buffers and debuffers.  Rogues have a nice combination of DPS and utility.  All scouts are usually welcome in groups.

<P>Assasins/Rangers are DPS scouts</P> <P>Troubs/Dirge are utility scouts</P> <P>Swashy/Brigands are a balance between the both</P> <P>If you plan on getting to T7 asap to do some raiding or want to be in a raid guild try getting an idea of which class is needed most on your server. You can search the guild recruit window for what scout classes they want most. You can even try /who for lvl-70 scouts on your server and pick the scout thats not abundant.</P> <P>I did this when picking a priest alt (defiler) and because of the lack of good high-end defilers I've been offered positions in most of the raid guilds without asking.</P> <P>IMO all scouts are fun and useful in their own ways so it comes down to if your gonna be needed in end-game or not.</P>

I could be wrong on this but i believe the "scout" forums disappeared after LU19 when they banished subclasses to hell and instead made you start out as the class you wanted to be. <div></div>

Which was actually too bad, IMO, b/c the pre-20 change didn't erase the commonality among all classes in a single archetype. <BR>

I would say Brigand or Dirge, currently the 2 most desireable scouts.  However, EOF and the associated AP's are around the corner....
