<P>Well from the very small sampling of brigand spells listed on Test Center market...</P> <P>Not a whole lot from what we have now (Again, only found like 10 spells on broker)</P> <DIV>the Daring Advance line of spells looks nice now. permanent 3conc buff. lowers defense, raises offense, and has a 20% proc of some damage and interrupt to target</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the rake line changed to where it doesnt debuff agility, it debuffs mitigation.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>and rough skin only buffs strength now</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Though i wasnt viewing the spells from a brigand toon, so i cant comment on damage.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thats all I remember for now. Hopefully theres a Brigand on Test that can examine all their spells and screen shot it. =)</DIV>

I posted over in the "brigand power" thread under the Testing section (there's a new forum dedicated to combat changes).Basically... we go from being very good soloers at 38 to being overpowered soloers at 38. (That's the level of the brigand that I tested last night.)

If you want the FD portion of Lurk returned (I would love it, too, it was <i>extremely</i> cool) then /feedback this every day on Test.

Just made a low level alt on Test to check out the changes and to look at our app2 combat arts and I noticed a couple of things. First looks like we lost almost all our stat debuffs, but now get a lot of mitigation debuffs. Second group stealth looks like it bites now, it does not level up with you and only lasts 2 min 30 sec with a 3 min recast timer, so it's basically only usefull for avoiding one or two groups of mobs now instead of moving your group around. Third looks like interrupts are sort of useless now, from my rather limited play time on test, it looks like fighter and scout combat arts that do damage are insta cast and mage and priest spells have had a reduction in casting time over all.  Which means that you can't inturrupt fighter/scout mobs and at most your going to be slowing down mage/priests casting by a couple of seconds. Fourth our offensive stance is just an increase to piercing/slash and range with a chance to proc interrupt, while decreasing defence.  Our defensive stance is a increase to def and sta with a % decrease DPS. And it looks like Disable is becoming a swash only skill and I just had adept 3 made <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

After seeing Kythiks pics I am now really looking forward to the combat changes, looks like almost all our skill got better. Just a couple of things Kythiks if it's not too much trouble 1) Did your HP go up with the combat changes and by about how much? 2) Any idea what the "Increase Blur Vision of Target" does on Deceit and Rapid Throw? 3) And what is the "resist chance decrease by" mean, is that the chance it will work? <div></div>

    1) Not by too much i will have to grab the #'s later     2)Waiting for a real answer to what blur does still.     3) mitigation for stuns. they dont always work. <div></div>

Our ability to drop agro is going to be huge after the combat update, the Plead for Mercy line is replaced Evasion, Shadow slip looks like it got improved and a 100% proc rate baffle in the form of Distract Adversaries looks really nice for when you do pull agro.  Plus Plead for Mercy will absorb one hit max before the mob losses agro due to Decrease threat it creates and it only lasts for 15 sec so it looks like it will just be used to get agro of a chanter or healer. Plus Debilitate got a what 1000% damage increase or something crazy like that, and it's mitigation debuff went up by 10-20% add in Murderous Rake with a magical mitigation debuff of 1100 and you just increased melee damage by 28% and magic damage by 22% on level 50 mobs and even against level 58 mobs that still something like 19% increase in magical damage.  I don't know about you but increasing the damage done by a warlock or wizard on a raid by 19%+ is going to make mages love Brigands. <div></div>

In my testing, I've found the reactive de-aggro arts, the proactive de-aggro arts, and the on-demand de-aggro arts work extremely effectively in single groups against multiple heroic mobs or single heroic mobs.There are times when the fit hits the shan, and it IS possible to recover, now.

<P>ok the changes on snaring is good. The trait rake now is A BEAST.</P> <P> </P> <P>But still, check at our haste we can now knockback mob around? The Ruse line really isn't working properly at the moment, so you're not going to see much feedback about it.

<P>Maybe it's the way I play, maybe it's having played a day-1 eq1 rogue forever, or maybe I'm just stupid but...I very VERY rarely get aggro and when I do, it's too late, I'm dead.</P> <P>Therefore, I don't have much/any need for any de-aggro spells.  I can consistently keep up with other scouts on most fights (not ranged) and outperform all but our guild's nukingest warlocks/wizards every rare once in a while, but still never pull aggro.</P> <P>I'm just not impressed with half a dozen de-aggro spells for the sake of de-aggro.</P> <P> </P> <P>PS: I'm saying I don't have much need currently on the live servers...maybe with our other changes we will very soon need them.  I just hope I don't end up with a book full of the same de-aggro spells that I have now that go unused 99% of the time.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>
