<DIV>I've done about 5 heritage quests so far, and have sold all but one to vendors for gold to help me earn money to buy a horse.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So far the only heritage item I'm actually wearing is the eye patch from Everfrost. Even that item isn't that great since we have our own see invis spells that we can cast - though I guess it's nice not having to cast it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I plan to do the boots quest in lavastorm as they look helpful - though it's annoying that you can wear those and jboots at the same time. I do wish they had put these effects on different slots.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What heritage items do you actually use vs having on display/selling to vendors?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Fishbone Earring and Stein of Moggok...</DIV>

<DIV> <DIV>Stein and eyepatch are obvious, although I haven't gotten around to those myself</DIV> <DIV>FBSS....although it has no int, it still has better stats than most waist items we can wear.</DIV> <DIV>Jboots and efreeti as you stated</DIV> <DIV>Manastone is decent, though conjurors probably don't need it like other classes do</DIV> <DIV>Guise of the Deceiver is fun to use, but no real need for it</DIV> <DIV>Evil Eye Bag is a good bag to use</DIV> <DIV>GLS is decent for your low levels</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Think thats about it....</DIV></DIV>

GEBs!

it's not a heritage quest but i highly recommend getting and using tarton's wheel, it's awesome.  14 int and 50 power i think, can't check my conj right now.

laedyana 05-12-2005 01:04 AM

<DIV>I don't think fishbone earring is that great - I'm still trying to make up my mind on selling it to a vendor and using the 20g to buy some spells or other equipment. From memory it does not have any int on it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Stein of Moggok I'm using and happy with. I'm thinking though that  tarton's wheel might be an even better item for a secondary slot - such a shame that you have to make a decision for one or the other. I'd love to use that wheel in a non secondary slot.</DIV>

<P>HQs I use...</P> <P>Legendary Journeyman's Boots, Fishbone Earring, Manastone, Bag of Sewn Evil Eye</P> <P>HQs I have on Display...</P> <DIV>Guise of the Deceiver, Heirophant's Crook, Greater Lightstone, Dwarven Work Boots, Shiny Brass Halberd, Glowing Black Stone</DIV>

<DIV>Even at 50 I keep the mana stone equipped.</DIV>

Xlap 05-16-2005 07:23 PM

i sold my manastone after trying it once. i have MUCH more efficiant ways of getting mana (i effectively have unlimited mana really) and i have never been in any situation when i had to call out LOP or OOP because i always have an extra spell or 2 on like a 2 second timer that will give me enough mana for any spell i would want to use. and for anyone who says it would be usefull soloing..nope, i dont feel like taking my self-buffed hp down to nearly 50% for 200 power <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Haifong Tejinashi</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>46 Conjuror</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Befallen</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Officer of Order of the Black Dragon</DIV>

<blockquote><hr>StaticLex wrote:<DIV>Even at 50 I keep the mana stone equipped.</DIV><hr></blockquote>I tend to have too much mana regen sometimes, with adept 3 Essence Shift and Instant Vigor. I don't think I would ever need to use a Manastone. But the two must-have heritages: EE Bag, and Fishbone Earring.

<DIV> <DIV>I guess I should clarify.  The mana stone is a horrible item for mana regen IMO, for a conjuror anyway.  The only real reasons I keep it with me is for sprinting and tradeskilling.  Also, if using a mana stone kills you halfway at 46 you need some major gear upgrades.  heh</DIV></DIV>

there are still classes out there that do not have mana regen spells. so for them the manastone really adds value(oops didnt saw that i am in conjurer class forum <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />)<p>Message Edited by Eskill on <span class=date_text>05-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:05 AM</span>

<DIV>yes i do need gear upgrades. but i wont pay for them over spell upgrades. when i have full adept3/masters ill work on gear (i actually did buy a new +10 int with 7sta for 5g a couple days ago)</DIV>

<P>Evil eye bag, golden efreeti boots, Torbin's eyepatch, flowing black silk sash (since nothing else has better stats in that slot that I know of) are the only heritages I'd call must have.</P> <P>I think Tarton's wheel is the better choice for summoners over the stein of Moggok.  Fishbone earring is nice but not a "must have" imo as are the jboots.  The rest of the heritages I'd do for the status only.</P>

aye fish bone is only a must have if they have any underwater zones atm it is not.
