Zone resolve seems a bit highter that what you could get from solo quests equipement, I got OS by some mobs, even with the Fount of Power buff.<br /> <br />After talking to an erratic clockwork I got "spotted" in the tunnel. I revived at the entrance and accidently click the door to exit, when I came back the robot will not talk to me and open the door to the tunnel anymore.

I started a new instance and got the same problem, when I reached the erratic clockwork he would not talk to me and open the door. It seems that I'm tuck or that I need to delete the quest without being sure that I could get it again.

I deleted the quest and took it again at the first npc. Did the zone again and was again spotted. This time I did not exit but the door was closed again without any way to open it, with no robot. After some time the robot came back but would not talk to me.

After finishing the quest, if you try to do the zone again there is no robot to open the door to the tunnel.

Legacy of Power: An Innovative Approach<br />I died to security mob after following the erratic clockwork. Came back to spot and now duct gate locked and clockwork will not activate. Reset the zone and it's still bugged same way. I'll reset it again and wait to see what a patch does

Glad to hear the security locking is being removed, gate closes when you go through so any death means restart. also I seem to be stuck in combat the whole time.

Having real issues with Gearclaw the Collector. I see the message he's ran out of power, right click to turn key but die before can do anything. If merc doesn't res I get locked out on reviving, if merc does res the name goes non-aggro and I'm just stuck unable to do anything. His Strange Ticking hits for 16 million HP so one shots me.

This is now ^^^ mobs and COMPLETELY unsoloable.. even with a healer merc in beta gear. The nameds take 5 mins to kill and many will just 1 shot you for 30M dmg<br /> <br />I have 21Mhps and I'm getting 1 shotted

The glitched guardian is kicking the snot out of me, which I don't think is appropriate for a solo instance. The first two names didn't hit hard, but took forever to take down. I get one hit on the glitched guardian and I'm a smear on the ground.<br /> <br />Edit: I'm either missing something, or the glitched guardian is way too overpowered. I got a little further than one-shotted on my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th time around. The glitched guardian is 3 arrows up, and the whirling gears are 2 arrows up. I had to double check that I was actually in the solo instance, and not the heroic one. The fount of power buff is on, but this guy chews through me like a hot knife through butter. Should I be wearing all the gear from the beta buffer? (my gear is decent as is, and I have 32mil hps and 470 resolve by myself).

I dropped about 10 million hps, and about 100 resolve, though my potency went up a little and my resists went up a lot (about 75k). So I decided to give Mr. Glitch another try. I died bunch faster than the first time around. Is there something I'm supposed to be doing but not? I tried to pull him over by the glowing power source looking thing, in case that was meant to have an effect, but nada. I'm wearing my clockwork illusion, my fount of power buff, tried both with a merc and without. For a warden I can put out some decent dps, so I can heal myself, and tried both the gardening goblin, and clakazaka (I can never spell his name). I can see people have gotten past him, so I'm wondering what the issue is.

Now that everything is appropriately tiered we will look into the balance stuff. It is very possible it either needs toned down or the buff needs toned up. We will discuss it and adjust.

I'm trying to kill the Glitched Guardian 10101 and I'm getting eaten alive. I'm fully raid geared and I'm not doing much damage. The other two named prior to this one were hard to kill also. I think they need to be toned down.<br /> <br />BTW - I was using the buff from the fount.

Since the last patch, I can barely scratch the Ancient Clockwork Prototype (coercer named Nimlis) adds before I'm dead. I take down the trash with ease.<br />In zone, my coercer has 535 fervor, 4005 cb (capped), 41,854 pot, 1 mil ab mod. All of the gear is from the faction time and solo overland drops except for her epic 2.0. Adorns are just what I've brought over. I have not bought any of the orange adorns from the beta buffer because I'm trying to test with what people will have when the expac goes live.<br /> <br />I can't root or mez the mobs and attempt one at a time, because they're immune to control effects. I don't see a way this encounter is doable in it's current form.<br /> <br />Note: as evidenced by the fervor number, Fount of Power is active.<br /> <br />Futher Testing Note: It is doable, but messy, if I pull out a healer merc and it's only possible if you keep the aggro completely off the merc. They get practically 1-shot, even by trash. the names fights take 5+ minutes <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie12" alt="o_O" title="Er... what? o_O" />

first of let me say i am a Berserker with 48 mil health 4,315 CB 42,348 POT and 463 Resolve and i loose power on all named fights. I am using my Fount of Power. I have been able to kill <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Ancient_Clockwork_Prototype?redlink=1&action=edit& flow=create-page-article-redlink" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow">Ancient Clockwork Prototype</a>, and <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Clockwork_Scrounger_XVII?redlink=1&action=edit&flo w=create-page-article-redlink" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow">Clockwork Scrounger XVII</a> but on each fight i loose all my power about 7 min into the fight and need to use my auto attack the rest of the fight making it a 10+ min fight on each. When trying to kill <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/The_Glitched_Guardian_10101?redlink=1&action=edit& flow=create-page-article-redlink" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow">The Glitched Guardian 10101</a> he hits like a freight train and the adds you need to kill take forever to kill as they have way to much HP and i loose power and die 10 sec later from the named smacking me dead. This HP of the named and adds need to be drastically reduced as this is a Solo.

Gearclaw the Collector has 2 major bugs:<br /> <br />1) he can 1 or 2 shot you like the 10101 (or whatever the name) does. So he needs to be toned down<br />2) If you die while fighting him, he bugs out and reset to white non aggro and you cant attack him. you then must reset the zone and delete and re-get the quest

Also if you kill the nameds in there too fast (usually by buffing up and blasting ascensions causing them to be 1 shotted), the ghost won't leave them and walk on to the next step

Glitched Guardian:<br />After the midnight patch.. again.. merc is unfortunately required. There is no way for a coercer in the gear given from the timeline to survive even to 80% w/o a merc.<br /> <br />I get the mob down to 1% and it heals up to 5%. The one buff on the mob doesn't give any suggestions on what to do. The mob does not emote anything that would give a suggestion on how to actually kill it. I dragged it over to the red lightning thing in to the right of the door on inside.. fought it next to the furnances that root me (w/o putting any det on me at all *grumpy face*) and it still heals back up to 5%.<br />There is no right-click option on the mob either.<br /> <br />This is a solo zone required for the signature line... the strat should not be this arcane.

Hard to test when you cannot get past second name in first room

When using the Electro-Charged Clockwork Hand to open the door for Legacy of Power: An Innovative Approach, it immediately puts my toon in combat. Nothing is attack.. feigning doesn't break it.<br />Additionally the erratic clockwork is not behind the door.

Aaaaannd... now the Glitched Cell Keeper has the same bug the Glitched Guardian had. It gets to 1% and heals back up to 5%.... And I am now stuck on the third quest of the sig line for the 4th day :S<br /> <br />There is no right click option. I even requipped the Electro-Charged Clockwork Hand to see if that made a difference... nope.

So the Glitched Cell Keeper cannot be killed in the solo version due to that immortality at 1% regen to 5% repeat infinitely. Will wait another 24 hours, hopefully, for a potential fix. Thanks. Oh I attempted this zone at 7:01 am eastern this morning.

Confirmed as of 852am. Looks like the devs forgot this one. Same as yesterday. Cant be killed and cant progress in the sig line because this zone cant be finished.

Glitched Cell Keeper:<br /> <br />If you die fighting it, it will reset to white/non aggro and the zone must be reset<br /> <br />Correction: If you die, go linkdead, etc - anything that "resets" the encounter, this will happen (happens on any boss where the spirit must activate/possess them)

Tried this today. Finding similar things but a few notes:<br /> <br />1. I noticed that the Electro-Charged Clockwork Hand was still in my inventory from yesterday, even after zone reset. Intended?<br />2. Couldn't kill Glitched Cell Keeper as per other folk's notes. Tried camping and back and he was non-agro, so I left zone and reset it. When I went back in, all of the nameds were up till I got to the Erratic Clockwork. It was missing. So quest was stuck at that point. I then deleted the quest and got it again from Druzzil Ro. So at least there seems to be a workaround.<br /> <br />Will try again once someone says the Glitched Cell Keeper is no longer 'glitched' <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" alt="Smile" />

Vile, after you quit one time the erratic goes missing. I had to remove quest, get it again from Druzzil Ro and reset zone.

Might have been a server crash perfectly timed with this but:<br /> <br />Immediately after killing the Clockwork Scrounger XVII the zone froze, I couldn't loot the chest, I could target mobs, but I couldn't cast anything on them, and after a few minutes it finally kicked me back to character select.<br /> <br />The server never said it went down, and when I logged back in the instance had reset, even the first named apparently respawned. The nameds in here take a really really long time to kill (I expect on live it'll come down since I'll be using more 101-110 abilities than I am right now), so I didn't try a 2nd time just yet.

Gninja, When you open the door that requires the use of the Electro Charged clockwork hand, it puts you into a state of combat for the rest of the zone. /sit, etc doesn't fix it

Fought it for half an hour, never got lower than 76%. Exited, dismissed Stampy, 2 minutes later it's dead and I'm on to the next boss. Didn't reset the zone, just dismissed merc.

Ran into an issue with the Ancient Clockwork Hand. When I couldn't kill the Glitched Guardian, I logged out to go to work and didn't resume my attempts to kill him until the next day. Before I tried again, I reset the zone to start over, since there'd been fixes after I'd logged off. I reset the zone, and the hand was still in my inventory. When I killed the mob in the fresh zone that drops the hand, I couldn't loot it because I still had the old one. I didn't think it mattered, so I left the chest with the hand and went to kill the next mob. When I got to the Guardian again, it didn't update the hand to be able to open the door (presumably because it was the hand from the previous zone I had reset). The chest with the new hand had expired already, and now the quest won't advance. I'll have to go out and destroy the old hand, reset the zone, and start again.Is it possible to make the hand from a previous zone work for the new zone?

PLEASE get rid of the stupid damage immunity buffs which occur at specific percentages. As it currently stands, it doesn't matter whether you have 30k or 10 trillion potency, the named encounters will die at EXACTLY the same speed regardless. This defeats the whole purpose of gear progression -- making things die faster. As it currently stands, I have to press 1 CA, wait 5 seconds, press 1 CA, wait 5 seconds, etc, etc. before the NPC is defeated. This is a toxic form of gameplay.<br /> <br />The same issue plagued certain kunark ascending heroic instances, with Arcanna'se Spire: Forgotten Sanctum being the most notorious of these. I avoided that zone like the plague, btw.

The furnaces in the zone really should put a det on players when they root them. It will obviously be incurable, but there should be something for players to see effect and duration of the root.

Went back in again after zone crashing last time, reset the zone, and started over. I killed the Glitched Guardian 10101 and my quest updated 'Meldrath's spirit dissipated when I defeated the Glitched Guardian!', with the next step being 'Find Meldrath's spirit.'<br /> <br />Unfortunately in my inventory 'Ancient Clockwork Hand' stayed, and it did NOT turn into 'Electro-Charged Clockwork Hand' as it did for others. The door would not open for me, and I appear to be stuck. Should I try deleting the quest, reseting zone, and starting over?

Should the bosses in this zone have heroic zone health pools? 15 minutes to kill the cell keeper is a bit ridiculous. Especially when <i>finally</i> progressing through the next few zones and having completely organic feeling bosses.

Aware that I'm a little slow here - due in part to problem with sapphires and salts - now solved. Now in Masks of the Machine and killed Clockwork Scrounger XVII this morning. Without a merc my SK took about 45 minutes to kill it. No strategy needed as apart from the initial trauma's until he ran out of power he never really touched me. Just overly long and tedious to do. Why make a fight boring?

I wonder if the resolve check is too high. I got a few pieces out of the tower of thunder that bumped my resolve in PoP gear up to 400 and it went from 15min fights to 50sec fights. Happening to other zones too - ACT had ichor mobs in The Coliseum of Valor with billions upon billions of HP one run and 15 minute fights, then next run they die very fast, and ACT says they have only 33,840 HP.

Last night my beta-buffed (not copied) necro could not kill The Glitched Guardian 10101 (yes, I remembered to cast that buff). She has 9.2m hps, 37k pot, 4k cb, and 345 resolve outside of that zone. The beta-buff package doesn't contain a merc or a familiar so I went and got Zhugrus for her, but haven't yet gotten a familiar or a deity. I dropped the merc for the last couple of tries and a friend who had completed the same zone came in to try to help and we both died.<br /> <br />Going to try again after buffing the merc up some and throwing some gear on him. Maybe check the merchants for better beta gear...

Third time's a charm - it updated and I was able to finish the zone after deleting quest and waiting to reset zone. Please change the exit to return you to Coliseum of Valor near where you zone in (near the portal).<br /> <br />Edit: Then Gears in the Machine crashed fighting first mob - Repair Bot 5000 - same thing as Masks, zone reset with me back at entrance.

Hey folks - New beta tester here.<br />I ground my way through the Tradeskill achieve, and the Magic Quester achieve (all 3 factions). I made it through the first two Sig line quests, up to the third one, that takes us to Innovation. I have all the beta gear, bunch of orange adorns, my conjy pet is Master (from the previous tier, for the 10% dmg reduction), and my merc is Zhugrus buffed to lvl 10, with beta gear and other items i bought from a faction merchant.<br />That 10101 mob wipes me in 2 ticks, every time. I have no clue how to combat it. I've been told I need PG adorns from Live, but I've never done proving grounds. I've been told this is how the Release Sig line is going to be; that it's going to be this hard. I have to say, I've never encountered anything like this in any previous EQ2 expansion. I could always do the content as I went, at the appropriate level, with gear that I received from the quest lines. If this is how PoM is going to be, I'll skip it and wait for the next expansion, then come back and play the content when I'm capable.<br />I hope I don't have to do that, I was kinda looking forward to it. But, I've been playing on Fallen Gate progression server, and I like crafting more anyways. My guess is the new expansion won't affect my playing, one way or the other. But I hope I won't be locked out, just because I'm not over-powered with gear from other parts of the game that I don't play.

Did the quest a while ago but thought I'd try the zone again. The erratic robot is buggy as hell. I killed it seemingly too quick, the clickable npc appeared, and another aggro copy of the robot popped as well which can't be killed, it just heals back to 100%. There also seems to be an issue with the clickable robot running too far ahead or behind, and there's no way to tell where the security scanner is so sometimes you have to let the robot run off and it messes the zone up. I killed the Glitched Cell Keeper and the door to the final room wouldn't open.<br /> <br />There surely must be an easier way to do this? Have the robot teleport to the cell keeper or something?

I forgot to add that on my first attempt I fell asleep at the wheel before I had killed The Glitched Guardian so I logged back in the next day in the same instance and killed him, and the hand was not present in my bag when I went to look for it. I supposed overnight it disappeared. I can verify that it was there before I fell asleep.

Meldrath ran in the room then disappeared and next door can't be opened, with message 'The door is on lockdown due to security protocol'.<br /> <br />Just ran it again on bruiser, killed robot, became unclickable and was stuck in combat. I zoned out and back in and he was clickable, then he ran to glitched cell keeper and disappeared. I killed keeper, then Mendrath came running through and door to last boss is still unable to be opened with same message as before.

Update on this zone:<br /> <br />Bruiser: completed sig quest and he still has electro-doodah to get past door to erratic robot. Combat starts the instant I open the door, but erratic robot does not aggro. If I aggro him and kill him quick or slow, he powers down and becomes unclickable. I then have to exit the zone and come back in for him to be clickable. I then click him, he runs off to Glitched Cellkeeper and disappears. I kill the cellkeeper, then Meldrath runs through to the next room and then disappears, and the next door to the last boss will not open because of security protocol, regardless of whether I have the electro-doodah equipped.<br /> <br />Please confirm whether this is bugged or I am missing something, because I've run this zone a good 20 times in a variety of ways now and there's been no dev response.<br /> <br />Dirge: Completed sig quest and encountered exactly the same problem as bruiser. I noticed I had two of the electro-doodahs in my inventory so I deleted both, thinking that it would drop from first name again. I have killed the first boss countless times and the electro-doodah is not dropping, so I cannot open the door to progress.<br /> <br />Someone please give me some kind of answer. Has anyone else managed to complete this zone since they finished the sig quest for it?

I could complete the zone without bugs. However as a Dirge/Geomancer, the named fights were extremely long and boring tank and spank for 5 minutes or more.<br /> <br />With such a design, this zone will never be run again after signature line.

Now I just did it on my bruiser and it took over 5 minutes to kill it. Seems way overtuned.

I seem to be missing something in here. I copied my Conjuror over and hit 107 when I got to this part of the signature line. I'm getting eaten alive by the trash mobs at the beginning. I'm using the buff that we get but it doesn't seem to be helping.

At first i was also getting destroyed in that zone even with the buff.<br /> <br />That's until i realized that you really need to upgrade all white adorns from beta scaling gear buffer (max hp, potency...). The dropped/quested/crafted gear is not sufficient by itself to do those zones.

I've been trying to get through the zone. If I am able to get a trash mob by itself, I can generally kill it but I have to recast my tank pet at least once if not more during the fight. If I get an add then the chance of surviving goes down to about nil. My merc generally gets the agro and dies quick. The groups of mobs that are on the scrap piles chew through my pet and my merc quickly. The zone definitely seems overtuned.

Just tried running my monk through the zone for the sig line, i killed all the trash and first 3 named just fine, my quest updated ok after each named, but the item needed to open the door to the 4th named did not upgrade and cant use it to open the next door to progress further. The ancient clockwork hand did not get changed into the weapon to open the door.

The boss fights definitely seem to be taking too long<br />Class: Coercer (running with Evania Val'Sara for merc.. merc did an irrelevant 124k encdps)<br />Stats: 235 fervor, 4010 cb, 147,4083.9 pot, 1,096,386.3 ab mod.. epic 2.0 and tome of the ascended<br />enc dps: 153,201,338.38<br />Ancient Clockwork Prototype took 5:10 minutes to kill<br />Clockwork Scrounger took 2:01 minutes<br />Glitched Guardian took 2:21 min<br /> <br />Wearing gear from faction lines, over land mobs and solo instances (toon has finished sig line)<br /> <br />Side note: Please please PLEASE attach a det to the extremely annoying 'pin' the furnaces apply when you get to close. This at least tells players WHY their movement keys have stopped responding and for how long they have to stand around.

Font of Power came up as soon as I logged in ( kept my warden in zone to finish kills). I killed the Glitched Guardian and I got the message that the Ancient Clockwork Hand had been electromagnetically charged, but when I went to check, it still is unchanged and not able to be equipped, so I cannot open the door to advance the quest.

I logged out last night in zone and logged back in this morning. Last night I was having a heck of a time killing the Glitched Guardian ( took a long time, like almost 30 minutes to get it down to 98%, so I evaced to zone entrance, logged out and logged back in this morning. I was able to kill the Glitched Guardian this morning with no trouble so I am hoping it was a new zone but I did not exit zone completely and go back in. I was not sure if I would have to redo everything or not to advance. I can try exiting completely and going back in and seeing if that works later tonight after I get the family taken care of.

Cuora, you'll likely need to manually reset your zone (which does mean starting over, but you'll also have a freshly patched instance).<br /> <br />To reset, hit <alt-z> to bring up your zone timers and either click "Reset All" to clear everything that is eligible, or click on the zone to highlight it and then click "Reset Timer". Thank you both Gninja and Shmogre. I'll try to reset tonight. I may have the Beta Lockout Reset Tool on Cuora. But if not, I'll pop on over to the Spires and pick one up just in case. I'll report how or if it worked. I know this server is always patching so I'm not sure if I am getting a patched zone or not, but I do know I noticed a big change in how the named mobs were this morning and it was much better.

I re-ran the zone, killed the Ancient Clockwork and his 2 buddies, killed the other mobs and named, got to the Glitched Guardian and got the Ancient Clockwork Hand to update and it is now equipped and I was able to enter the next phase. I will deal with that later this afternoon hopefully.
