Quest "Up against the wall"<br /> <br />The little hominids are not a threat yet we are supposed to kill 10 of them? Now the twisted farseas crew members makes much more sense since they are agro.<br /> <br />Why start a war with peaceful creatures, it makes no sense and goes against my Paladin's sense of justice.

I've noticed a few mobs/named across Norrath that should be aggro but aren't.<br /> <br />One that comes to mind is in Karnor's Castle - Watchmaster Hattmantan.<br /> <br />For the life of me I can't figure out why he is non-aggro.

So basically we start a war with the Grimlings due to two gnomes? I always knew gnomes were evil.<br /> <br />"GO KILL 30 GRIMLINGS!! ITS FOR SCIENCE!!

Actually, the conversations through the quests leading up to that describe the grimlings as aggressive and vicious. I believe the bug here is that they are NOT agro to players (or anything else for that matter).

I suspect them being non-aggro is less a bug and more a nod to necessity for the crafting quests in the same areas. The twisted Far Seas crew members and twisted sentience are nightmare enough for a low-adventurer, high-crafter character, and that was before they upped the spawn rate of both. If the twisted hominids/grimlings were aggro too, the place would be impossible without some illusion or cloaking method.

Except that the crafting series has you running to Malvonicus' tower to investigate plants and what not, right in the middle of agro lev 96 twisted Far Seas and agro orbs. If they were so concerned about a high crafter that is low adv level, they would not send them into insta-kill territory. There are differing issues here, which are dependent upon which way they go with the crafting content in Refuge.

Except that around the tower the aggro mobs are very easy to avoid... less so for the rest of the areas.<br /> <br />And, there are quests throughout Norrath that require you to kill non-aggro mobs.
