Hi all, long-time player but been away for a good while.

Was considering re-subscribing, but thought I'd choose free-to-play first.

When I get to the launcher, I have a drop-down box to choose a character, and I have 3 characters in there, one of whom is level 81, on Splitpaw. If I pick him and click Play, I get told that it can't find Splitpaw, and then it goes to the login queues.

Question is, is Splitpaw not available to free-to-play users? I don't want to resubscribe only to find that I can't play my lvl 81 main. When I create a Free-to-play char, the choice of servers does not include Splitpaw, so I'm hoping that it still exists.

Thanks in advance!

If that is a Euro server then read the sticky in this forum.

It certainly is a European server. Is this something to do with this ProSiebensat.1 thing, is that the sticky to which you are referring?

I hate it when people say "I haven't got the time blah blah blah" but that sticky is 89 pages!!

I'll read through it though, I promise...eventually.

Is there anybody who can sum this up for me?

In the first several pages I've read there doesn't seem to be any straightforward info on how I can access Splitpaw.

The prosiebensat.1 website is woeful.

Any help gratefully received...

Perhaps nobody can, looking at this on page 84 of the sticky:

jamesgra wrote:

Can anyone give me any direct and specific guidance on what EXACTLY happens next?

No nobody can.

Ok, I've read enough now - what a shambles.

I know SOE (or ProSiebenSat.1) won't care but I think that's the EQ universe dead for me. Shame after 12 years.

MODS - please feel free to delete this thread.

Meh the PSS1 deal has nothing to do to with that....

Splitpaw is still there, you just need to select the correct version on the launcher (For Splitpaw, it's EU English. If you want to play on an US server, select US English)
