Here I am after a long hiatus, looking at all the forums and wondering what to do. I played a Pally as my first toon and had reached (for me) a high level of 34. That toon is long gone and I find myself starting over. Palladin was fun, at least what I remember of it. This was before the combat changes hit and (from what Ive read and heard) got hit with a neft bat.

So hear I am again. Trying to find my niche, a class I can call my own and feel comfortable with. I solo alot but fast soloing isnt a priority for me. I have children and need to go afk constantly if there awake to keep the peace lol. Im just looking for info on the class since the changes. Can pally's still solo and can I enjoy the game and still get to see whats "out there". This comes from a person that has never seen past Zek and the Enchanted Lands. I do have Desert of flames and kingdom of sky although Ive never seen anythign in either of them lol.

Any information is greatly appreciated. As a side note I beleive I will play on AB although Im open to server suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

If I were you I'd start by going to the live updates forum and reading all the changes that happened after you were gone. This will give you some idea of what to expect. I still play my paladin (whom I've had since opening day) and I love it. Yes, we've had some changes but so has the whole game and in fact next week even more are hitting. We are still able to solo quite well IMO and we're a fun class to play....again IMO.

Starting over you get to relearn your class and the game, remember that it is a game and just have fun Expect that change is inevitable and in an MMO necessary for the game to live and you'll get by great. Good luck and welcome back

Thanks for the link, I found it at about the same time I refreshed the message and saw you posted it. :smileyvery-happy: There have been alot of changes. Its almost mind boggling to tell you the truth. Gonna be a tough choice. I think I log on to my old toons I have left and see what they have.....distribute anything valuable in preparation for a Pally. Ill update here on what I did lol. Still think Antonia Bayle will be the server of choice......not sure what else to pick.

I just returned as well, only played for a bit after release. I "tried" a bunch of different classes on the island and it was a toss up between the Templar and the Paladin. The Paladin is leveling like a breeze, plus the fact that I got 5 Paladin Adept drops made the choice that much easier!

I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with all the great changes they have made to the game since I last played. Having a good time.

That's great to hear! Two young pallies *tears up* I remember when I was a young pup it seems sooo long ago :p

Yes, for the most part I like the changes that has been made to the game some more than others....some not so much I hope you two have a great time this go round, just remember it's a game and have fun.
