Amends Range

<DIV>Quick question: Amends now has a range of 10 meters.  I was assuming that its "if the amendee moves further than 10 meters from the paly, the hate siphon stops working", or do you need to be within 10 meters to cast the spell?  Has anyone confirmed with with data from the game?</DIV>

The casting range is 10m, the effective range was changed quite a few LU's ago to 30m. I've seen nothing stating that has changed, and haven't experienced any difference myself.

<BR> <BLOCKQUOTE> <HR> sammcduff wrote:<BR> <DIV>Quick question: Amends now has a range of 10 meters.  I was assuming that its "if the amendee moves further than 10 meters from the paly, the hate siphon stops working", or do you need to be within 10 meters to cast the spell?  Has anyone confirmed with with data from the game?</DIV><BR> <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE>I can't post raw data, but personal observation tells me the 10 meter restriction is for casting the spell only, as long as the target is in hte group and in combat range you siphon the hate.  Many times i have had amends on a warlock/necromancer/wizard and such while they are over 30 meters away to avoid AE ranged spells and i am still siphoning the hate.  I know this works, because if the the target dies from a add and i am not quick on amends again the get agro nuking, while with it on it is smooth sailing.  The only spell i know for sure that requires us close to target is our defense buff to another that grants the target a chance to use our avoidance as a second check to avoid damge, if you are not close by i see the target getting hit more often than when you are in melee range of your target of the spell.<BR>
