I'd still keep my cobalt tablet over that. +60 to all melee is a big deal for that slot. I hope the T7 tablet has the same or better but I'm not holding my breathe with the way SOE is messing up tradeskills right now.

aye, if I was tanking anything hard I'd use the cobalt tablet for sure, but for the grind from 60-70 it sure is nice having a legiscon, or that item, or any FT4 item for back to back pulling on xp grinds

I have a TON of awesome ranged items, but any items that will give Flowing Thought IMO is freaking uber. I'm ALWAYS running low on power keeping my pristine agro and I have a great many FT items. I woudl take the FT over the cobalt any day, plus its not like its that big of a mit increase. Hell i've tanked all the Halls of Fate names with only one healer in group and no support classes just fine with the FT grimoire over the tablet.

Deevaun Reenao Holy Paladin of Karana Lvl 70 Befallen

Since I rarely have a problem with power and if I do I have ways around it I don't think I would want to give up mit and HP for FT.

hell yea, Flowing thought is more important than anything, half the time i'm xp grinding I still wear my gebs I got like a year ago of course I'd slap on my plate boots and cobalt tablet for a tuff named, but most mobs dont even hit that hard so who cares, I just want power regen

Perhaps in XP grinds it's great, but even then I rarely have issues with power regen. Add a class with it, and I don't need half my FT gear.

The xegonite tablet really sucks, no mit on it at all. It's a downgrade imo. Some acrylia jewelry is looking okay though. 23 str sta agi.

hmm.....a pally who doens't have power problems....do you tank? How is your agro management? What exactly is your group dps? If your group dps is not over 3k with you having solid agro then you are wrong. If your group is not getting 2k dps with you holding agro, then you are wrong. If your groups dps is barely breaking 1k, then you need to ditch some folks or go do a new exp grind area ; 0

But seriously, if i am not grouped with a chanter or bard type, and i have say, an assassin, swash, brigand, conj, healer, and myself, ya i can hold some insane agro, and i can put out the dps, but there are many many cases where I need to help ward/heal, while maintaining insane agro.....my power ALWAYS goes out first, or close to it. This is using the manastone, vessel comopleted through killing Godking, I have FT3 Chest that rocks from t7, ft4 legs that is freaking nice, the t4 ranged grimoire there, hell I even am using the Prismatic 2 sword of anuk.

If i really get desperate I still gots the GEBs and the Amulet of Ro but I like to keep my better gear on for those, but still, if you are doing your job I don't see how you can't need FT unless you chose power regen instead of max health along your leveling.....which might have been a good choise but overall, my pal is geared towards tanking as i DESIRE to be beat on by uber raid mobs.

So how did you plan your char along your levels? Max health or power regeN? really interested on WHY you don't need FT items like I do.

In one of my regular groups I have a Ranger, Necro, and Warlock and I don't have much trouble holding agro nor become the first to go OOP (that's usually the Warlock). And, I have no FT or power regen items. One thing I don't do is spam taunt or go overboard with CAs/spells. I do just enough to hold agro effectively while keeping some power in reserve just in case things go bad or we get adds, or whatever.I don't parse, so I couldn't tell you what our group DPS is. This is just my experience.

First off the thing is, you have to consider how you built your toon. You know when you chose your master 2s, extra resists, etc. Well if you chose in combat power regen that could help. I did not, I chose max health.

But, at level 70, when assassins, conjurers, warlocks, swashys are doing insane dmg. I have no problem when people parse thousands of dmg over my couple hundred. However when I have 3 or 4 dps going all out matching eachother sometimes its an issue as amend only goes on one, and sigil still bugs other peoples hate transfers except my own. But it is still doable, I just hav e to be on the ball.

But its been a while since i've been level 55 so I can't recall if i had power issues or not, I don't believe I did though. But jsut you wait till you hit the big 70 and start playing with competent DPS that are parsing exceptionally well that are equipped with raid gear. Then you will see why FT items are the bomb. I am no pal noob, i hit 70 first on Befallen if that says anything (except having no life) and I continue to do Halls of Fate with one healer, and exp grinds with no healer. FT items are a must unless you have a group member feeding you power from my experiences. Then again i have a Bag of Tinkerers and a Box filled with gear so my FT items are just my normal equip, i have equip for all situations : )

I'm not sure I see the problem with power. I can usually chain pull to my hearts content without the FT gear. I do use the best drink available and use the Prismatic 2.0 1h sword. I'm in a pretty well outfitted raiding guild with DPS classes that parse some insane numbers and I don't have a problem with either agro or power. I did notice that it got a whole lot easier around level 65. If your having issues with power, I would recommend using only your hate increasing abilities and forget using the other spells. Really, how much do we actually add to the grand DPS scheme of things. The biggest key is having Amends on the right person. For the first several pulls I will put it on different people to see who helps me hold it the best.

Also, if your having to help with wards and heals, then the issue isn't going to be solved with getting FT gear. Need a better or another healer. Better yet, a power regen'er in the group allows you to go all out.
