<div><div>So any idea how to use this Achievement? I trained it. Created a hotkey. But there is no maintained icon or spell icon when I cast it like other Group AE buffs. It seems to just go away after 1 proc on a group mate.</div></div>

Read the description more carefully. It will say for the next successful attack, it will proc. And thats it. It will proc once for each grp member within that minute. So it has a maximum of proc'ing 6 times =P

You need at least 3 melee's to make it worthwhile to use at lvl 4.<div></div>

<div></div>have this at rank two, watching ACT reports on fights when i spam this, no other mellee in group is reporting hitting witht the extra slashing attack, and whats the BS with group members needing to use greatsword? How many scouts use a great sword!

<div></div><p>Battle Leadership - Effect - decreases slashing, crushing, piercing, disruption, ministration, ordination, and subjugation of group members by 0.1 then 0.3 rank 2...</p><p>starters - "decreases!!"</p><p>you also need 4 levels just to get +1 if not more...</p><p>The other not, whats this dual wield in the strength line??</p>

<p>Re Battle Leadership...</p><p>The description says 'decreases' which can be misleading. What it does is decrease the slashing, crushing,...subjegation VERSUS the group. But this is contrary to the ability's description 'Increases comat and spell ability of the group."</p><p>This ability is totally [Removed for Content] since it takes 4 ranks to even reach 1.0. In beta it was much higher and reasonable.</p>

<div></div>Actually it was not intended to decrease the mobs attacks towards you but it actually is decreasing the group. At least per the effect. Once you get to the 4th AA into it it actually changes the effect to "Increases" Its really pathetic how theyc an't seem to program this [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]. Way to go guys ; )

<div></div><p>If it is fixed, could someone please post the numbers on its increase please? I am stuck at school currently, and I'm really curious to know the numbers. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div></div><p>It is fixed, somewhat.</p><p>I trained Battle Leadership IV today and it now says, "Increases slashing, crushing, ... subjigation of group members by 0.5."</p><p>Value may still be low, but at least it is INCREASING now and not the opposite.</p>

i have this at app4 at the moment, i noticed in the nest if i cast this before the tank got the first hit i was either getting agro or the bruiser was working hard to keep it. I also had amends on a warlock so he was letting the blood run free as well.I maybe wrong but it seems i get extra spell damages in my colour when this goes off and if so and the rest of the groups procing this spell are counting as my hits then i might be getting agro from those hits as well.My point is that as a tank , if we cast this maybe it avts as an indirect agro transfer providing it is me thats getting credited for the dps another group does with this spell. As i said i maybe wrong, i need to start checking my logs to see what is going on.<div></div>

I just respeced from STR to WIS and am trying to figure out the point of Combat Leadership.- it will trigger once per cast and then you have to wait for a minute.- am I correct that it will trigger once for everyone in the group when they cast/attack? I've mostly been soloing since I got it so I can't be sure.- in a group, does it give aggro to me or to the one that triggers it?Possible uses (assuming the aggro goes to me) when I am the tank:- periodic casting of this will increase hate on me as others attack- if I am pulling, it will give an extra aggro boost for that initial pull. As well, as others launch it, a bit of aggro will come my way helping to keep the mob focused on me.- if someone else is pulling, it will trigger and make grabbing the aggro a little easier. As a damage spell, it really doesn't look very impressive (one not-very-big strike with one minute recast). It may have some use for aggro generation. If I am not the tank, should I hold off using it until aggro is established? <div></div>
It sure would be nice if SOE would inform us more explicitly what these abilities do. If it works as an aggro generator that's awesome, but that is not something you can gather from reading the description.

I am level 69 with combat leadership 4, battle leadership 8. Combat Leadership is just "free" damage, for about 150 x 6 (if group is full). Not a big deal, but none of them is. I use it if I have a sword out. The "buff" goes away when its one charge is expended, as advertised, and it will proc on Decree, so I figure it works for spells, as the description says. I figure every member of the group will make at least some sort of damage attack within the next minute.Battle Leadership is currently +33 to weapon and casting skills. It scales to level, and as a minor bug, it resets to level 1 if I mentor or unmentor, until I deactivate and recast the buff. I remember it saying "decrease by 0.1" before the patch to fix it, but either it was fixed, or there may be a display issue in the achievement window for paladins who have not met the prerequisits. It seems like a worthwhile path to me, although I can understand if you prefer more HP or hate.

<P>Things I have found useful with this spell.</P> <P>and I hope they don't nerf it after hearing about it..</P> <P>I have it at level 4, and I have found that if the first hit I fire off after this (before a normal swing) is an AE attack then it hits all the mobs in range for an extra 115 on top of the normal AE damage, I have also noticed that if you have a zerker in your group and the next spell that he hits is an AE as well then all the mobs hit also take an extra 115 ish damage as well (it shows as damage as that you do even if your not swinging at that moment) I don't know if magic attacks also proc it like that or if it is just melee but on AE's it's very effective! It makes a lovely sea of orange damage when all done correctly. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>Also it seems to hit each time that the dot goes off for attacks in the oath strike line (attack and divine Dot) though not every time I cast it so I would need to test this more. But if it does then it would be an extra 115 ish per tick of the dot which would actually make that line worthwhile again (what with the DOT being resisted even by blue con mobs and STILL having the 1 minute time go off (one minute for a 200 (thats the max hit as well at my level) point hit?!?!?!?) if this did work then it would make soloing a lot more bearable, and actually make me use this spell more often! <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

If it works on DoTs and AEs, there is definately potential.<div></div>

<P>Not sure if it proc's on auto attacks but you can normally hit off a CA before the next Auto attack anyway.</P> <P>I'm almost 100% (99.9999999999% <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) that it works with AE attacks as it appears to happen each time, I've set up a Macro to tell people that I'm hitting it and the people that I group with regularly all hit there AE's at that point. Failing that hit it at the beginning of a fight when all the AE's go off normally and you will catch most people (be careful of pulling aggro if your not the MT though, it does seem to add the extra hit's to your Hate list as well.)</P>
