Which Master did you break the piggybank for?

<div>As the topic states, this is a good natured question to all pallies out there on any past purchases off the broker or major trades to get a master 1 for a spell you wanted.  Normally for me i get mine to adept 3 when i find the rares but the last 2 i remember was buying a master 1 of consecrate about a month ago and last night buying a master 1 of amends of the the crushbone server.  Both i consider well worth the plat but was wondering what spells you guys have purchased in the past...<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

Only masters I have gotten are from drops I have picked up for friends have.  I haven't even seen amends on the broker or consecrate which would be the 2 I want most.  I would like a master of Sigil as well and have seen it but they wanted way too much for it.<div></div>

i have all T6 masters except for Clarion Cry and Resolute Faith. i don't really care about rf tho. paid the most for Consecrate and Amends 13pp each =P

<div></div>yeah i paid 12 plat on amends, but i dont mind maxing out a spell that is very crucial to my class and has no upgrade, my favorite is finding a master 1 Demonstration of Devotion in living tombs of the Flow Master while duoing with a fellow shadowknight guildee, i love when things work out like that.  Keeping my eye out for a master 1 of intercede also but who knows when that will be on the broker.   With LU 20 fixing Sigil i would want that master 1 also, I like getting good gear as the next pallie but with our guild heavy on tanks, i would rather improve my spells when i can to make my guy more useful..<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<div></div><p>Have the following Masters which I think are pretty big for our class in tanking.  DIdnt include the dps ones:</p><p>6 rares (back when they were worth over 2 plat each)  and Crimson Targe (Scorn shield) for Dem of Faith (Ward)</p><p>5 Plat for Faithful Benediction (Def Stance.  Couldnt hit the buy button fast enough)</p><p>7 Plat for our Prayer of Consecration (Our Gr heal and back before they made master drops more frequent)</p><p>3 Plat for Zealous Preaching (had to respec to get M2 of pious aid but worth it)</p><p>1 Plat for Rescue</p><p>1 Plat for Intercede (Never use this one though as it is useless now in raiding imo)</p><p>Sigil of Heroism (was stoked when I got this when then SOE bugged it again), Clarion Cry, and Ardent Sacrament (from a raiding and guildies)</p><p>Have continued to look for amends.  Would pay big for it as well since it is not upgraded and every bit of hate counts in raiding and grouping with those nutty dpsers <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div></div><p>I have all critical masters. Not counting divine favor or other crap like that. I will most always pay for any master I that is between 5-8pp. Picked up Amends for 5p about seven months ago. The most I paid was for Pledge of Armament for 15pp. Our raid MT was soooooo excited when I got this. </p><p>I personally believe that each master in and of itself isn't worth the upgrade. However, if you have ALL master I spells. You will notice a big increase in effectiveness. 15 points more damage here and there adds up quite quickly over your entire hotbars.</p><p>however, on topic, none of them broke the piggybank since the funds aren't a problem.</p>

<div></div><p>Havn't bought any masters off the brokers. They are just to espensive for me to consider them worth  the upgrade over Adept 3. I have about 5 masters, as I recall, from my guild or from friends.</p><p>One I consider the most valuable (and I have it master, from my guild) is prayer of consecration. It is great to counter an AOE during a raid, when I am usually grouped with the MT plus 3 healers plus a bard. It is also useful (though mana expensive) as a single target heal in fights, for a player I don't have targetted. It actually heals each player more than the single target heal.</p>

Think the only master I have is Rescue but I got that from a drop. <div></div><div></div><p>Got Amends (twice) killing named giants deep in Sol Eye.  Also found a devestation (warlock) master which earned me 30p (the 2nd amends sold for 10) so I recommend taking a friend to drop your average group level and head down there (I park my 50 ranger at the zone and go to town on those easy greened in grey giants) High 40's50 masters drop all the time there now, so if you can't afford to pay for em, give that a try.</p><p>I also picked up sigil when it was originally broken for 1p and the group heal dropped for me.  I have to admit I've been lucky.  Now if I can just find a defensive stance......</p><p>Message Edited by Graven55 on <span class="date_text">02-28-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:15 PM</span></p>
