Is it just me or do 90% of the quests in Maj'Dul feel wrong for a good character let alone a pally to do?Just a quick example.  Loook at the Court of Coin line of quests.  The Barterlords are not working with the Caliph.  You go and talk to them they still don't want to help.  So what do you do you hit them where it hurts.  Destroy shipments, kill champions, etc....  And the responces are always so evil sounding. While I understand part of the job as a pally is to deal with problems in this way sometimes.  They really need to look at your responces and stop making the only responce that will progress the quest line be something that only an evil person would say.  And maybe script in more than one way to advance the quest so evil people can do the evil thing and good people and do it the right way.<div></div>

<div>Just pretend you respond in a different way.  I dont want them to spend too much time on scripts.  They'd need to add in iskar responses in hiss.  Then take into account that an elf is addressing a dark elf and it could spiral out of control.</div>

Very true. I think the Blades quest line is probably the most fitting of a Paladin, but even that has some shadiness to it.

Yeah blades was pretty good though even it had shady moments. If you wonder around Qeynos you will notice that most of the quests seem to have a good responce to them  In the commonlands it is more the evil side.  That is fine that is based on the domanite alignment of the area.  But as you get further away from the base cities and more importantly into Maj'Dul Evil seems to be the order of the day.  I can understand that in some instances there is no way around what has to be done.  But it would not take much to put a flag if (toon_align==good) { Good_responce_001(); } else { Evil_responce_001; }  you don't even have to change the what needs to be done just make the responces more fitting.Knights of the Old republic had a really nice system for the dark side vs light side depending on which quests you completed and in some cased the choices you made.  I would love to see something like this built into EQ2 a bit.<div></div>

I agree with this, as long as it doesn't turn into Bloodlines where you have different npc's for each alignment, getting slightly different quests for slightly different things.<div></div>
