Playing a currently lvl 25 pally on butcherblock. There seems to be an extreme lack of adept1 upgrades for sale at the broker. Is there a list of mobs they drop off of and also is this lack of low level upgrades common to all servers gamewide.I've read a lot on the forums of low level stuff not being available due to there being a lack of lower level toons due to the age of the game. Good ideas on how to overcome this would be appreciated

I've found a few paladin adept 1's in stormhold. Even got a master 1 the other day there. A lot of people avoid SH(shardhold) because they're used to losing shards inside, so that might be a good spot to start looking. Now that there's no shards, there's no reason to avoid exploring the depths of SH. :smileytongue:

If you had played paw, specifically the trial of harclave before they changed the drops, you would have had more adepts than you could carry of all classes.I had to let alot of things rot due to lack of space. There seems to be a fair amount of low level adepts on Najena. I have Oath Strike up for just one gold since there were so many of them down to silver range.

Check the fence too, you never know what you'll find there.

I think alot of people sell Adept I spells to the vendor nowadays - maybe you should ask in ooc or if you are in a guild ask them.

It can be difficult to find Paladin spells because (at least on Lucan), they are the most popular class. As another poster said, check the fence. A lot of people either don't know or don't use the fence and it can have everything you need sold under the price of your own city (even AFTER broker fees).

Especially at levels 10-30, the fence is an awesome alternative. The Freeport/Qeynosian classes haven't always mixed by that point, and they don't have paladins in Freeport. Thusly, they can be put up for sale on the Freeport market and just sit there for days and weeks until an enterprising young paladin finds the fence and purchases them for herself.

Find a level 30ish alchy to make freinds with or hit up you local township and start making yer spells 4-teh-win. /cheer

Honestly I think that the upgrade of AppIV(crafted) to Ad1(droped) in tier 3 will not make a bit of difference to your toon freind.

Basically true newbies cant afford to get a TS to make their spells, its not worth it to make at a price you can afford, unless its a Guild service or a friend.

So with less lowbies about there are less spells on sale, I think I got about 3 drops that I could use between 1-30 and so levelled on App2 spells mostly since I couldnt afford broker prices. Its slower levelling on App2 though, and more might be put off trying to get to a level where they can be more a part of the game, where the people are.

Basically I put my drops in the Guild bank and Guild TS make my spell upgrades, of course this buggers people in small Guilds or soloers.
