Hello everyone, im glad to join your comunity, some of you may have seen me on the paly channel already, im a new Paly comming from WoW. As far as i have seen im very happy with the current paladin (lvl 25), still there is something that amuses me, is really hard for me to understand the macro style of the game, however in previous games FFXI and WoW we used to have very nice post on the comunity about Macros, like how to heal the lowest HP member, Taunt Macros, etc... So guys i call upon your wisdom in this matter, please post your best tanking, healing, buffing, etc... Macros so we can Share our knowldge.

Used to have a rezz macro for Raids, but with it being 60sec, /shrug doesn't get used that often anymore

The only macro's I use are just pull messages, or certain messages to a custom channel.

I have a few but only for raids. /r << CHARGE >> for when we are are charging a mob (normally precided by charging in 10) /r << ASSIST ANZAK on %T >> /assist <MA> /r << INC %T >> I don't use the INC one a lot since I call 10 seconds before Inc and when I move they pretty much know what is going on and it is a waste of a key stroke. The charge gets a little more use. I'm often MA so the ASSIST messege is almost always on my hotbar. And even when I'm not MA I don't always assist the MA for a number of reasons so that one gets little use as well. I did make a few others for casting but they didn't work out well as I had to have two hotkeys so I could see the recast.

Best macro guide out there, by far:

http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=Newbie&message.id=69655

Pretty much describes in detail all of the possible macros. The most important macro I use is the "strip equipment" macro for unequipping on raid wipes. The "all enemy master strike in-one" macro is useful but only for scouts, priests and mages. Fighters have to keep their enemy mastery stances up seperately. I carry a pulling macro (which uses an emote and a gsay), but most people can pull without that spam.

For more "commands" try

http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=tips&message.id=1957

Just in case there is something you want to try, perhaps you can fit one of those "/" commands into a macro combination.

Thank you, Hylozoist, for your reply.

It's exactly what I was looking for.

Now I suppose I'll have to get DoF so I can do voice macros with the emotes.
