Why is my mitigation in red?

<DIV>Hello all.  50 Pally here.  I just recently had 5 pieces of cobalt armour made and my my mitigation is now 2308.</DIV> <DIV>But it is in red where as all my other stats are blue.  Why is that?  I assume red means a bad thing. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Do I have to level more to fully benefit from the cobalt?  Why is my mitigation in the red?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance.</DIV>

<DIV>it is shown red if it is lower than your base-value for some reason.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Do you have the grant of armament line active? That could be a reason.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Other reasons are debuffs from mobs.</DIV>

Or you have your offencive stance on <div></div>

90% of the time it's because I've left the  "...of Armament" line on. Even when you disband from the group that you were in when you cast it, this mitigation loss will remain active until the spell icon is actually toggled off.

Offensive stance doesn't lower mitigation, it just lowers defense, which leads to lower avoidance. You will have a lower mitigation in offensive stance compared to defensive stance though, but that is beacause defensive stance increases mitigation. <div></div>
