I'm curious to know what strategies other pallies are using to pick up adds. I miss the Theron's/Call To buff that would grab adds without having to retarget. Chanters don't seem to like it when I switch targets, but if they can't mez an add fast enough, I have to switch targets to taunt the add off a groupmate. I tried using Sigil of Heroism, but it doesn't peel like the Call To line used to. Anyways, I'd like to hear what strategies you guys are using to grab adds. Thanks.

chanters should be ok with you throwing taunts on them as long as you don't use the shield bash line, 'cause neither the single or ae taunt breaks mezz. if you are MA though, that's another story ... however, as a rule, at the start of a group, if we have a chanter, we decide if we are taunting or mezzing adds ... if we are mezzing, i ignore the adds and let the chanter deal with them. ... just remember to taunt once or twice before breaking mezz in that case ...

I usually keep the game in 3rd person so I can watch for adds right off the bat. IF I CAN use area effect then I do right away that seems to work great. If I hit AoE even before the add actually hits anyone it's like instant aggro on me. OR I group heal that seems to do it most of the time. Now if I'm in a dugeon then I have to target and taunt and if people are actually assting you and see that then they really shouldn't have a prob cuz I usualy go back to the first target so scouts don't have to move and it only takes one taunt usually.

Linx -- 51 Paladin -- MIstmoore
