I've tried using it at the beginning of a fight, near the end of a fight and as an emergency Get-The-Mob-Off-The-Silly-Caster type of thing (I must say: it doesn't exactally yank the mob off the wizzy like Rescue does -- I was kinda hoping it would). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks :smileyhappy:</DIV>

beginning of the fight tends to be bad, 'cause the DPS naturally holds off early, and i've found if you tell them not to then everyone goes nuts and the fight gets interesting quick. ... on a fight where i have aggro concerns (2 non-linked orange groups, 3 groups of yellows, or something) i hit it about 10-20 seconds into the fight when DPS is prolly burning mobs down.  and i do use it as an emergency taunt ... it seems to work ... just a little slowly.  think of it as a over-time version of rescue ... <div></div>

observed effect (no official statement) ... and it was still happenning last night ... no real way to prove if its true either, since you can't run a parse on hate ... <div></div>

Sigil is the same percentage wether you have apprentice 2 or 4, adept 1 or 3, or master 1. It is not upgradable.

no ... the icon stays up ... but just by observation it doesn't seem to be really 'on' any more. if you want to try it out, do this: 1.   duo with ranger, put amends on him. 2.   pull and have him do steady dps for a couple fights until he is comfortable with what dps he can do without pulling agro (usually he can go all-out). 3.   cast sigil during a fight. 4.   pull again and see whether with the same dps he pulls agro i have a sneaky suspicion that this may have to do with the level of sigil vs the level of amends.  i have adept3 of both if i remember, and i see it all the time, but it may be that if your amends is adept3, but sigil is adept1 it wouldn't happen 'cause amends is too high level to be overridden ... <div></div>

If you run into the adept 1 version in the broker you will find it priced about the same as a vanadium cluster or rough pearl. If you want the spell right away you have very little choice.</DIV>

<div></div><div></div>The spell seems worth it once they sort it out. I tested it by letting a "non paladin" friend play me.. He kept aggro fine with amends and just using the regular taunts as he learn't my abilities. Then he started using sig and his aggro control broke and stuff kept pinging around the group. Stopped using sig for the next rounds and all was gravy again. most 50+ alchemists would have it already... i believe it's purchaseable in the Court Faction instances ... think the little scrollies are the adept III recipes ... <div></div>
