<DIV>Hello, this is my first post-let me introduce myself. I'm johnnyflamms, the 36 kerran paladin on the blackburrow server. I started playing my paladin about 2 months ago, and have NEVER grouped. (I lie, i actually grouped for 5 minutes to help kill some group gnolls for AQ1)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, I've solo'ed my way to 36 in the following places:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Antonica - random non-aggro animals</DIV> <DIV>TS - first random non-aggro animals, then griffon/giants/crabs, then later the skeletons outside the ROV entrance</DIV> <DIV>ZEK - crabs and orcs right outside the docks from TS's</DIV> <DIV>EL - turtles, turtles, turtles.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now that i'm 36 i'm having a tuff time finding soloable mobs, preferablly non aggro so i can run around and pick and choose.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I LOVE the undead bonus us paladins received with the CU changes - but where can i find undead for my level?</DIV> <DIV>Is it me or are soloable undead hard to find in norrath. I wish to fulfill my destiny as a paladin and slay as many undead as possible.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't want this thread to turn into a flame war about whether or not we can still solo, all i know is i can, and i enjoy the grind of soloing. But i need your help finding good spots to level up the solo way, hopefully undead.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone have any places to guide my solo career to level 50? Once i hit 37 i may go try the ferrot but i'm scared. =)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Lysogen on <span class=date_text>09-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:00 PM</span>

<P>The explorers and pioneers and wolves along the canyon, behind the res tents on the beach in Everfrost can be solo'd from level 40 (maybe lower ... its been a while).</P> <P>At 42 the crocs and caimen and asps along the beach in Sinking Sands can be solo'd and they are yellow at that level. There are also skeletons up the trail from behind the Spectres tower at the oasis, as well as beatles and spiders that can bel solo'd. </P> <P>The ghouls are a little tougher but can also be solo'd by level 43 quite easily.</P>

<DIV>Where can I find the mummies in Shiftign Sands? Are they random wandering spawns?</DIV>

Most animals (drecks and flies) are non aggro in that area. There are some aggro mobs but most of them don't wander.

<div></div>Hey johnnyflamms I know there are various dungeons in Nek Forest where it is all undead. Since you like to solo, try using this website: <a href="http://http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/search/bestiary_search.php" target="_blank">http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/search/bestiary_search.php</a> Choose any type of undeads for example, skeleton or mummies etc under race type. Then hit search and it will display the numerous undead mobs. It also tells you where they excactly can be found and even which quests are related to the specifik mob. Gil, the mummies in the SS can be found spwning close to the cemetety in the middle of the map. Dont have the coordinates, since im not logged in..but theres a little cemetety next to a tower towards the middle of SS that spwns them.
Best place to solo is Feerrott, hands down. The entrance is loaded with non-aggro mobs for soloing. But that's not the half of it. The entire Feerrott is loaded with solo encounters. Many aggro, true, but careful navigation can get you DEEP into the jungle. You will have to be careful to avoid the group encounters, but being aware of your surroundings negates 95% of the problems. I harvest T5 resources from Feerrott and solo everything that gets close to me. Exp flies. There's also many quests in Feerrott, and around level 39/40 you can start getting guild writs for Feerrott as well (and these can be soloed). I've been exploring, harvesting, and fighting in that zone now for the last 7 levels. I know it well. It's a soloers haven if people aren't afraid to learn to navigate it. As for undead: There are undead lizards in the Feerrott. These are called Fetit Rallosian Allegiants/Warriors/etc. They are deep in the jungle, and probably not appropriate yet for you at level 36. But they are there. When you get around level 40, you might want to venture deep into the jungle and check them out. They come in groups - some meant for soloers, others Heroic encounters.

<P>Kalera,</P> <P> Thanks for the insight into the Ferrott. I'm 37 now and am planning on visiting the zone tonight. Your post has me very excited, i can't wait to get there and begin careful exploration. I'm especially excited to hear exp is good. </P> <P>Last night, i decided to venture into Rivervale. I killed a bunch of the rabid wolves near the entrance. They were solo 36 and 36^ and 37's. At the time i was 36, and the EXP was very slow, and the killing only left me with about 60% health, 30-40% power. It seemed killing 33 and 34v turtles in EL gave me more exp per kill. Does that make sense that something way below my level gives me more exp that something my level? No only that, but i could kill 4 turtles in the same time it took me to kill one of those rabid wolves. So not only did it seem I got more exp PER KILL, but i could kill more faster. That just seems odd to me. Oh well, Ferrott- look out cause JohnnyFlamms is comming to town! </P>

For example, i make faster exp running through a con green dungeon solo than con blue/white orcs in zek..By the way, if your around 37, faries in Zek are very easy to kill, and exp is amazing. Give it a try.Dkken42 PaladinAB<p></p><div></div>

I was able to find some last night jus above the climb wall from the shifting sands dock area. Not sure if this is the same place as your mentioning though. I was moslty soloing and at 45 had to be careful how far I went.
