<DIV>I have a Kick Adept III and I am wondering if I should sell it or scribe it. (I'm a 23 Paladin). I dont use Kick anymore, but I am wondering if the Adept III would be useful when low on power. i.e. does it have a good enough damage to power ratio to make it useful when I am low on power.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any thoughts? Or just sell it? if sell it, how much should I charge?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thx</DIV>

<DIV>I don't think you would get much $$$ for it.  The only people that would really need it are low levels and they don't have much money, unless some rich guy was trying to twink a low-level alt.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I still use Charge Adept 1 at 32 when I'm in mana-burn DPS mode.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Put it on the market for a day or two for a few GP to see if you get any sniffs.  If not, scribe it.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Aside, I think this is a flaw in the EQ2 spell upgrade design that you even have this issue.</DIV>

I concur...I'm one of the players who twinked up their new alt with both Kick and Wild Swing Adept III. They were both extremely useful for IoR and the road to 10, but started to lose steam in the low teens. I used kick as a warrior until I dinged 20, at which point I replaced it with one of the new special skills. Incremental damage is always welcome in my opinion, but at the ridiculous prices adept III's (even tier 1's) go for these days, I'd take the money and run! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>Oxboy, you said you still use "Charge" at 32. Did you mean "Kick" since that is what we were talking about? Or did you mean you use Charge instead of Kick when low on power? (though I think Charge uses quite a bit more power, IIRC)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for clarifying.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Does anyone still use Kick in low power situations?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I agree that I wont get much coin for this. The only reason I have it is that I saw it for sale on broker at a low enough price I thought I would get it and figure out later what to do with it.  I assumed the maker had been trying to sell it at a high price for long enough with no takers that now they just wanted to move it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Charge is the upgrade ability for Kick. They share a timer, so once you get Charge, you no longer use Kick.</DIV>

<DIV>I think from the First tier the only spells of it I still use is Toughness occasionally, mostly to fill a Buff spot on a HO. </DIV>

I suspect that if you still had Charge Apprentice 1, it might be worth using the Adept 3 Kick instead, but I doubt any reasonable upgrades to charge will be outdamaged by it.

<DIV>My Adept 1 Charge at 32 hits for about 100pts avg.  Not power efficient by any means, but I pop it quite a bit when I'm off-tanking or in DPS mode.  I don't think this spell helps much if any with aggro.</DIV>

<DIV>Well, I put it up for sale at 3g. I guess I should have priced it a lot  higher since it sold FAST. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

We get an upgrde sometime mid-30s called Vengance that does a stun +crushing debuff, but I still like charge better for the knockdown ability. I figure that if I'm knocking a goblin or golem or something down, he's not doing damage to me for the few seconds it takes him to get up, and all those attacks I get on him in the meantime are "free".As for kick, eh, I don't use it. I suppose it would be a pretty low power way to finish some group HOs, but the difference between 18 and 31 power (or whatever it was) when you're 37 and have 1800+ power already is pretty minimal. I'd rather have another spot on my hotbar for something more useful.
