Hi guys, well - i got a short question - how is everyone doing against solo ^^^ named mobs - im talking about -10 levels or so....I just killed a few lvl25 ^^^ nameds in fallen gate - im lvl35 and although its not a close fight i need all my mana and sometimes i got to like 40% health and im OOM. I have 43% absorb and average/good (not twinked) gear, 2.5k HP . Is that normal for a SK ? I used defensive stance... i thought that the ^^^ named mobs shouldnt be hard at all for my level - but they still are - is that generally so or just for us SKs ?thanks!

For me I have the same outcome, if I solo a named mob I usually end up with 25% - 50% health and maybe 10% - 25% mana. That was before i got Mana Sieve and Manastone and Manastone 2.0. If you are having trouble with mana problems try switching to offensive stance to put more bang into your spells and use your life taps and reactive shield to heal yourself during the fight and keep yourself out of the red. Maybe youll end up with more mana maybe you won't. If you still have that problem try investing on a good ranged weapon with nice stats maybe some Int or Str.

My SK is currently 33, and can do ^^^ around 7/8 levels lower with reasonable ease. 25/26 ^^^ named can be done too, but a little harder. Most of these battles I finish either close to or OOM with almost full health left. Prudent use of HOs and taps have been crucial to staying alive.

I usually start with Condemning Spirit to pull the mob. Then hit it with Disease cloud to drop its disease mitigation. Then Draw Strength, Infernal Pact. I then start the round of HOs with Decrepit slam to stun then a DOT CA and complete. Next HO will be a tap for health.

Then back to disease cloud/infernal pact prior to starting another round of HOs. I sometimes complete an HO using a dot and then just hit a tap in whilst waiting for HO timer. This method I have found I can take the ^^^ guys and stay alive, even if I end up OOM.

My SK is called Karrum on Butcherblock if you want to confirm the gear I am in. I am in mainly SiIvril armour, using the Stonepine blade. Most CAs are App4. I use the defensive stance with Kite shield. Teamed with my firend's 31 Dirge we have taken on 4 ^^^ at once, we had to cos of adds I love my SK, he is a lot of fun to play.

it all depends on your gear and spell upgrades. As a lvl 47 I soloed the lvl 46^^^ giant at the zone in in permafrost. I have legendary armor & 1hs, fabled shield, master 1 HT, master II reactive heal and a couple adept III spells.

Debuff + dot + tap (tap early to start reuse timer) + shield

Stun + tap + stun + tap + stun + tap

debuff + HT FTW

Survived my first 2 with about 10% health and power, died on my third

Definitly not the best way to solo as you need 15 min for HT in between each mob but its nice to know its doable. Aside from that I dont think ive ever lost a fight with a Green ^^^

I know I always ask myself the following question. "Can I kill it if Harm Touch is not up?"
