Hi all,I started a PvP SK and I'm here to give my first impressions and ask for advice. I'm currently level 21 and trying to aim myself for somewhere in the middle of PvE and PvP. I want to be a decent tank but I also want to survive in PvP.ThoughtsI'm pretty happy with the SK so far. Although getting any half decent gear or spell upgrades has been a real struggle, I'm enjoying the playstyle of the class plus I think they overall a decent class. It's been difficult since my PvE main is a Bruiser so I'm used to being an excellent tank, kicking [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] in duels, and requiring little investment in armor. Although I may still be young, I don't see the SK class as being gimped (so far at least) plus it's nice to be unique on the server.By far the best ability we have in PvP is our taunts. Taunting is absolutely amazing =D and it makes tanks shine. Kudos to SoE for implementing it properly.Harmtouch again is an absolute killer (pun intended) and even though I heard people complain that it was resisted a lot, I haven't noticed this yet.We also benefit from some nice dps and self-heals, the only downside being the casting time of some of our spells. It can be very hard to cast Infernal Blessing or Condeming Anger when three people are beating on you.By far, the best fights I have are against melee classes. I find nukers very difficult to combat because of their root and nuke tactics. It's also difficult to catch people due to our lack of snares - do we get a snare spell line?Advice:I need some advice! What is the best AA line to go for? I'm tempted by Wis just for the extra resistances in PvP.I'm doing the SK AQ but where I can get some decent weapons and shields from? We can't do our class quest to receive the Shadowblade of Zeal anymore can we? I know a few good drops (like that cleaver in FG) but I'm not aware of many quest rewards. Is there any point in using a 2-handed weapon? I loose my shield stun and avoidance and the dps increase on the weapons seems marginal at best. Thanks guys!

I believe the "Wrath" line has a snare component. It has a high reuse timer though

Harm Touch does not get fully resisted anymore. If disease resist on your target is high it will hit, just for not alot of damage.

In PvP it's tough to fight casters so you may want to go WIS. You could also go INT and get good results. Higher INT makes your ranged attacks more potent so all those times you get rooted you can do some nice damage with your spells. Casters would die pretty quick.

Message Edited by megatraum on 03-01-200605:14 AM

PvP is the only time I would ever think about going towards the Agi line since the added movement speed and it gives really nice procs thatll help in PvP. In PvP I would probably stray away from the Str line and use the Sta line instead since it adds to melee crits, raises max hp, and gives an AE stun. I would also choose Int over Wis since it gives us a better chance to crit on spells and life taps. I dont know if Int line makes our pet better though (makes our pet crit more??). If you are PvPing casters, stay close to them and get off your slam and either cast pet on them or reactive shield, if your quick you can get your kick off and gives you time to cast wrath, which would snare them and take a good chunk of life off them. If you think the caster is doing a bit to much damage to you try and get close and use doom judgement hopefully youll be able to knock off a few of his buffs.
