No characters visible in character select and world is empty

Hi<br /> <br />I see my toon names, but characters aren't visible in character select.<br />I can enter the world, but it takes forever to load and when I finally enter the game i'm not visible and neither are NPC, mobs. It's also very laggy, but I can take a few steps then lag then move again then lag. I can see chat and even talk in it.<br /> <br />I tried going to live and I can see everything normally.<br /> <br />checked my install and nothing appeared as an error.

I am seeing the same. I have tried various video settings and no luck. Everything worked great yesterday, so this is new to last night sometime. laptop with i7, 32G memory, and nvidia 970 if that helps anything.

Same here. Hoped at last to log in and finish first part of signature quest but they broke it again. One step forward and a huge step back this time. Nothing to see in Char Select, fairly quick to load until "Adding Character" step then slows to snail's pace and complete stop when eventually loads.

Yea, ran into the same this morning. Hopped over to live and had zero problems. Nothing different anywhere else on my computer except for having downloaded/installed the new nvidia graphics driver. Wondering if it may be a cache problem.<br /> <br />edit. ahh now having trouble getting in.... 0 fps standing in the Moors <img src="/images/smilies/eek.gif" alt="Eek" /> (I can't see me or any other Npc Character)<br /> <br />I got an Application info change on my Glasswire "Modern Setup Host" while logging into toon, hrmmm. ..dunno

I was using an older nvidia driver, and had no changes to my system between working yesterday, and not working today. As a data point though, I did update my nvidia driver just now to see if a new driver would help. It did not.<br />Also, live works fine on my system as well.

It would be nice to think that someone is aware of the problem and actively trying to fix it. Without being able to get into Beta it is very difficult to send a bug report. For all I know 99% of testers are in and happily testing.

Having the same Problem..<br />Before update last night everything was fine..<br />when got to character select doesn't show character..when you log in same no npc.. <br />I'm running new computer I got 3 days ago. <br />Manufacturer is Alienware<br />Model Alienware Aurora R6<br />x64-based pc<br />intel(r) Core(tm)[email protected] 3600mhz 4core(s) 8 logical PRo...<br />Alienwere 1.0.4<br />version 2.8<br />ram 16gm<br /> <br />would like to get back to testing thanks for any help getting back in game

Caching Appearances is Halting at 80% every time I try to log in...<br /> <br />edit: ahh but this time it worked, I just shut off my computer and reset my entire network<br /> <br />I can see my characters, all there, now to enter Norrath!<br />Ok! Everything is good for me now, like I said I just reset everything in the House lol ^. ^

Thanks for that Sejreia, tried shutting down and resetting PC and it worked. Back in again.
