<DIV>Hey, I was wondering what creatures drop the best items for money (useful items too) and what quests give the best stuff.</DIV> <DIV>By the way I am a level 10 crusader. </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I've made about 15g on the baz just selling old gear. The majority of my money, however, comes from buying low and selling high. The time honored tradition of capitalism works well in MMOs. Keep a spreadsheet of hot items in excel and go bargain hunting. You can make serious bank.

<DIV>What do you mean buy low and sell high? Merchants give you a fixed price...</DIV>

The bazaar, not merchants. Buy from other players.Buy some Gulthexian Armguards for the terribly cheap prices players sell them for, mark them up 20s and resell them. Etc.

<DIV>You have to buy a bulletin board and put it in you house, then you can check items and sell from your house, to buy the items you will need to go to the zone their apartment is in and visit their room, right click on them and select buy from merchant.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>remember to use the docks to move between the sub cities its alot faster.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also there is a quest for just about every piece of armor you need, just go to all the different sub cities and hail all the NPCs, you will make good cash and armor for doing some menial tasks. Also when you get time just do all the delivery quests in freeport you can, go thru and hail all the NPCs and look for delivery tasks, they are worth the silver and items most of the time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Anash on <span class=date_text>12-02-2004</span> <span class=time_text>03:53 PM</span>

I make most of my cash by making things like the Appr3 skills and selling them for a few silver each. Or make Sepia Ink and sell it for 10-40sp per stack.Tier2 resources generally sell for around 10sp (as low as 5sp, high as 20sp) per stack on my server. Depends on how many folks are out gathering and how big the demand is by the tradefolk. (If the price goes too high, they go out and collect themselves. Or they raise their end-user prices which comes around to bite you in the hind quarters.)I can do 2 hours of gathering, come back, price my wares to sell and sell out within 15-30 minutes of putting out my sign. Far better to sell quickly then to sit on piles and piles and piles of overpriced ingredients for days at a time.Tier3 resources are reported to sell at a slighly higher amount and are in high demand.

<DIV>I suggest harvesting resource nodes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Commons and Antonica are now accessable to players with harvest skills of 20. I harvest roots, ore, windswept and fallen maple. I sell units for 40c-90c each. Thats almost 10s a stack (and you can collect 2-4 stacks in an hour's time). Skill up and move into the Tier 3 areas (Nek forest-- <STRONG>90</STRONG> skill required). Now, Tier 3 resources I sell very quickly priced at 1.5- 2.5s each unit. Thats 30 - 50s per stack...it adds up! Harvesting in Nek forest has a little more risk involved....but! We have GE! And Graven Embrace has saved me countless times (wisps, anyone?).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Of course prices may vary server to server, yet that shouldn't exclude you from contributing to the player economy. Price competitively and pat yourself on the back, as you are providing crafters with resources that they may just not have time to harvest themselves.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In two days I have generated 13g. Total time invested in harvesting over the last two days? 3.5 hours.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hope this information helps. Good luck!</DIV>
