<DIV>hi im level 18 crusader about ot be SK once i hit 20... i was wondering if the class quest was difficult.  i read here that you should get some friends to help.  is that true? or can i do it solo with ease?? also they said, 4 mobs were green "v and w" and the other 4 mobs were blue "v and w" ... are those "v and w" the downward pointing triangles?? thnx, sorry for the noobish questions <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>You can do your subclass quest at 18 or 19, you can't Ding to 20 until you finish your quest.  The hardest part is getting to the instanced area, if you know where it is you can safely train your way there.  One thing to note, I was not able to enter it by double-clicking nor was anyone I talked to, you have to right-click and use the menu to get in, costing you precious seconds.</DIV>

<DIV>can someone link to a walkthrough to explain where it begins and how to do it? I'm close to dinging 18 and would like to get it done.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A skill list (maybe even with descriptions of the spells) would also be of a great use. Anyone seen such a thing?</DIV>

I've done the first part (the dervish one), and I'm level 18. Have to go down to the Serpent Sewers (I hate that **mods 4 teh win!!1!** place so much...), is it soloable at 18 or do I have to bring a friend along?

<DIV> <DIV>You dont need to kill anything in Serpent Sewers, just in the instanced zone inside..and you cant bring others in there with you.</DIV> <DIV>There's a ton o stuff down in Serpent Sewers that's still aggro to you at 18 though so bringing a couple friends for support might be a good plan.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I went down with a lvl 19 Defiler and 18 Sorcerer friend and we managed to fight our way to the storeroom.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You could always take the chance with sprint though, but I wouldnt really recommend it, might make for some interesting shard recovery <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV></DIV>

<DIV>I completed this last night - EXCELLENT!</DIV> <DIV>As has been said, the most difficult thing is actually GETTING to the storage room. Here's some key tips you'll need.</DIV> <DIV>1. Speak to the woman Captain upstairs in the Militia house for the quest at lvl 18/19.<BR>2. Get a map - plenty about now showing the location of the storage room.<BR>3. Plan your route.<BR>4. Try to get a group of four around lvl 19-21, if you can, all the aggro'ing mobs will become grey and you can wander past without a care in the world.</DIV> <DIV>The final encounter is a 6-man dervish group, but surprisingly easy so long as you don't go wading in with no health or power! <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Just pull the three blues (long distance, if poss), take them down and mop up the rest.</DIV> <DIV>You get a really nice sword for completing the quest from the Captain - and you may even start getting salutes from some Militia guards <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Only complaint I have is that the whole point of the Heritage quest is that you do it on your own in a solo-environment. However, the Serpent Sewer is a death-trap to single Crusaders at levels 18 & 19.</DIV> <DIV><BR>Grimus, Nektulos,<BR>19th Ogre Crusader (SK in waiting)<BR>13th Craftsman</DIV>

Yeah, I was rather dissapointed.Getting to the storage room was cake at 19 (alone). Just stay to the left at all intersections where you're being chased (yes, you'll end up at a dead-end, but the mobs will have given up by then, just retrace your steps a bit).I basically sprinted past the snakes until I was in the long hall with zero-aggro mobs. Then rested up for the sprint past the blue ratonga mobs to get to the storage room. (Had to run back out since my timer on CoO wasn't ready... same thing, run past the ratongas, rest up in the no-aggro corridor, sprint out.)The fight was boring. I pulled the kingpin and his two flunkies first (using RA at max range). Warded myself, used my 2 AoE spells, did an HO or two, cast ward twice more and the fight was over. The second set of mobs (think there were 4 green--) was even easier then the kingpin. Our level 10 class quest / fight was much more interesting then this. Worse, there was *zero* furniture in the instanced dungeon. No decorations on the wall. Really an *odd* place for the "kingpin" to hang out in.At least the sword was a nice 1HS (I was in the market for one).

<DIV>srry to bump this but it is useful if other are having trouble getting to the storage room alive and finding there way..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://www.gry-online.pl/eq2/maps.asp?ID=34" target=_blank>http://www.gry-online.pl/eq2/maps.asp?ID=34</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>that is a link to a site with maps of all areas inclusing serpent sewers, and tells u how to get to room, i used it while i was in sewers..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>also i was grouped with a lvl 30 player while i was in sewers which made sure i got no unwanted aggro on my way to the room.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the dervs inside where easy to kill 1 grp at a time.</DIV>
