<DIV>I am a dwarven fighter right now and about to decide if I want to be a crusader and betray Qeynos to become a SKor if I want to remain "good" and be a warrior to eventually become a berserker. Are there a lot of SK's in Freeport? will it be hard to get a group if there are several? If there seem to be a lot than I may stick with my goodie-two-shoes dwarf. If not, I wouldn't mind being an evil dwarf... ..I think that would be fun. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>On my server Befallen I think tanks of all types are still in great demand.  I think knights got a huge boost in popularity when the first few of us got our horses.  As far as too many, I don't think so.  I see alot of teens crusaders in the works in freeport but not nearly as there are scouts and mages.  I would say most people are going warrior -> guardian still and many less to crusader -> knight (pally/sk).  Berserkers and monk/bruisers are going to be much rarer though.</DIV>

there are WAY too many crusaders in Freeport. and i assume most of them will become SK and not betray to be a pally..i am a bit upset really. one of the leading factors why i chose to become a SK is that everyone on the beta boards said they were weak and underpowered.i would prefer it because i like to be a bit different.seems like 9 out of 10 fighters i see are crusaders (sk's)<img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />this is on antonia bayle RP server btw.

<DIV>Well I chose a server name that I didn't think sounded very evil myself. Being on steamfont I've found /who almost always shows 6+ Paladins and only 1 or 2, (often none) Shadow Knights. As well, /who Guardian tends to bring up more then both combined. Overall there are a ton more Qeynos people then Freeport people (seems like) on Steamfont, as I play a character on each side. Crusaders are also often tied or lower then warriors.</DIV>

There are quite a few on my server, but nothing outlandish. It seems summoner is the popular choice. I do notice a startling lack of Bruisers/Brawlers.However, I look at it this way. You'll always have people who make a class and not follow through and people who change their minds midway. It matters little 'how many' really. What matters is.. are YOU having fun?I'm a Ratonga Crusader (trying to catch up to big sister Crumbles!) about to be an SK. I'm having an absolute blast <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Especially when I tank for 'big' races.

I've seen a lot of fighters (at low levels, playing in the commonlands around FP) on the Lucan D'Lere server... but only a handful of casters and priests. I can't tell the difference at a glance between fighters and scouts (most folks are /role), which makes it tough to figure out if there are a lot of crusaders or not.Last night's group was basically a Kerra/warrior, a DE/bard, Troll/crusader, DE/druid, Rat/scout, DE/mage. And it took us a bit of killing mobs before we managed to find a healer (up until that we were pulling singles or twins).

<DIV>Our guild consists of 1 rogue, 1 priest, 1 fighter (me) and 8 (!!!!) mages. </DIV> <DIV>There are a lot of fighter classes running around, but we're outnumbered about 3:1 on average as far as I've been able to see.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thankfully, the scholars were happy to provide the app3's for taunting. They muttered something about 'self-preservation'......</DIV>

<DIV>I play on Toxxulia where there seems to be more of a balance in the fighter classes. More popular classes are ENCs, SUMs, and CLRs. That is...at least from my stand point. I have a barb that's going to be an SK though, because I like the idea of being an evil paladin type.</DIV>

<DIV>I should post a screen shot of my gnome tanking sandstone giants.... it's just too amusing. I don't even reach its kneecaps. I used to just sit there and stare at the screen as my toon stabbed its feet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>being short rocks.</DIV>

<DIV>yeah it does seem like there is a lot of SKs on my server. If i could do it over I probably wouldn't have picked the class and probably would have been a barb Bruiser or Zerker.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Most SKs I've seen on my server at any one time was 35. There are a lot of Crusaders in the works though. Horses have made our class pretty popular.<p>Message Edited by FadeIntoAether on <span class=date_text>11-23-2004</span> <span class=time_text>08:12 PM</span>

There can't be too many SKs.A group of 5 SKs and a healer is a great group.A group of 6 SKs is a passable group. A group of 6 of most other classes is inferior.I frequently have multiple SKs in my group, and that's fine. A group with heaps of SKs and no mages/scouts is much better than a group with heaps of mages and no fighters.

<DIV>An SK MA with an SK SA makes a good combo.. the SA can use offering of armament to give the MA more AC and the "rune" spell when heals come to slowly..as well as other things like the Intervene line..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A group I had recently was 23 SK (MA) 21 SK (SA =Me) a Shaman, an Enchanter and 2 "scouts" all 20 to 23 in level.  It was by far the best group I've been in and even the other people in that group commented on how great the group was.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>(the MA didnt realize I was using the Offering of Armament and didnt know what it did till I showed him the large AC increase he got from it.)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just always be sure to click off the Offering of Armament if you start taking hits.  Definitely never cast it on yourself as you lose the AC from the spell cost but dont gain any exp back.. kinda odd.</DIV>
