<DIV>This page contradicts what was told to us from the beggining. It does not make sense to collect wisdom items when you are a crusader then throw all that stuff away when you become a Shadow Knight and start using int stuff.  Read this offficial link. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/classes/playguide.vm?classId=8" target=_blank>http://http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/classes/playguide.vm?classId=8</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So can someone verify this.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>DUNN</DIV>

<DIV>I would imagine it to be int.  However, to be sure I would check the tunic you get for becoming a Shadowknight.  If it has INT on it most likely it is based on INT if it has more wis on it then it should be wis. </DIV>

<DIV>You do not get any armor for becoming a SK.  The sword you get does have INT on it though.</DIV>

<DIV>yay..another post on this.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>its a good thing..maybe someone at soe will speak up and give us the skinny.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I chose at 8th level to increase my wisdom.  currently I have a 34 wisdom, 37 STR.  I think the best way for any of us to check if the SK uses INT or WIS is to note their power pool before becoming a shadowknight and take note of any changes positive or negative.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>considering my INT is only 20 and my wisdom is much higher, if our SK power pool comes from INT and STR I should notice a significant difference when I make my class change.  I'll be sure to track my power pool as it progresses through levels if at all.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>its gonna be a while before I hit 20, if any of you are close let us know the results..this should answer this stupid dillema.</DIV>

<DIV>It should be WIS cause Crusader uses WIS.</DIV>

<DIV>The easy answer should be that:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If crusaders are based on WIS (which everyone seems to agree to) then there is no reason why a sub-class would all of a sudden be based on a different stat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, although presumptious, I think it's fair to think that Shadowknights / Paladins will both be based on a combination of Strength and Wisdom.</DIV>

<DIV>Something interesting I just noticed is that in the Crusader Class Guide is states the Wis determines the ability to cast/land spell but Int determines the amount of damage:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>"<EM>Intelligence –</EM> Intelligence modifies how much damage your character inflicts with magic-based attacks. <P><EM>Wisdom –</EM> The higher your character's wisdom, the more successful they will be at both landing and avoiding magic-based attacks."</P> <P>Still, it be nice to get some sort of official word on this.<BR></P></DIV>

<DIV>I played a 31 sk in beta and things may have changed but I would have to say forget them both. You're not a caster your a tank that casts. You need stamina and strength, stamina for hit points and strength for high attack rateing. Its more imporant for pallys as pallys heal but for an sk if you've got power pool big enough to throw a few runes and taunts you're golden, dont sweat the caster stats.</DIV>
