Got a chair that places on the ceiling? Or a vase that's taller than three ogres? Or maybe your bed is just a pink cube? Let us know about it here!

1) All three of the Chalp stones: (Chalp long stone slab, chalp square stone slab and chalp stone slab) sink partially into the ground when placed. In addition, I put a white stair scaled to full size under them to make them more obvious, and they did not sit on top of them. They wanted to attach to the ground below the stair.

2) The Lab cage "attached" to the anchor I used to place it 1/3 up from the cage, with 2/3 of the chain above that point.

The "Dalnir Chair" default size is small enough that the back of it barely reaches to the top of the "Dalnir Long Table" (also on default size)

The default size for "Torsis Bench" makes it the same height as the default size for "Torsis Long Table" and "Torsis Square Table" ... which kind of makes it not a bench, but just another style of table.

I think all the above will be fixed in the next update, except I'm not quite sure the best solution to this one:

Kelvani said: ↑

“2) The Lab cage "attached" to the anchor I used to place it 1/3 up from the cage, with 2/3 of the chain above that point.”

These are objects taken from the dungeon of Dalnir, and the chains are actually that long in the dungeon. I adjusted them to not use all of the length of chain when placing in a home as most homes don't have ceilings that high. However, choosing a point 1/3 up was fairly arbitrary.

I could make them place from the end of the chain, but then the cave would be below the floor in most player housing

I could make them floor-placed, but the chain would likely still poke way up through the ceiling depending on what house it is in

I could ask the art team to shorten the chain, but that would again require a somewhat arbitrary length decision which might limit the different heights at which it would be placed

I could leave it as is, but it does seem odd and might poke through an upper floor if there is one

Thoughts? Preferences?

Here are my thoughts:

1) What about making the Lab Cage be 2 separate pieces? One would be the cage, and the second a chain about 1/3 the current length. That way decorators could choose how long the chain would be by using one.. or multiples? Landmark has really opened my eyes to being given bits of this and that to create other things.. why not use that concept here to expand our decorating abilities in EQ2 in a similar manner?

2) Conversely, I like the idea of the chain being its current anchor point length, and removing the extra links from it if the first option is not doable. We already have another cage with a super long chain so variety would be nice : "a hanging steel cage" (Purchased from Gorga in the City of Freeport with Freeport Militia Faction)

I have a message saying you may need to re-patch in order to preview this item. I logged out, validated files and it still shows that message.

Seems the newly-added items didn't have their art added. In addition to the carp items listed above, add these to the missing art list:

Arcane Tome (advanced sage notebook) - preview not available
Climbing Ivy (new goblin faction purchase) - preview not available, invisible when placed

Another one with an odd chain:
"Ornate Dalnir Chandelier" has half the chain extending up beyond the anchor point.

Cae'dal Bookcase (carpenter rare) does not have any placement surfaces for the shelves, for easier book placement.
