what?My wife and I have been playing a Bruiser / Fury combo, and it works out pretty well most time. I just got a second PC, and another EQ2 account, so I thought maybe I would bot a toon to drag along with our quaint little duo.Any of you more experienced players have any suggestions? I was thinking MAYBE an Illusionist for the obvious buffs. OR a wizzie for some quick added extra dps... something easy, I dunno.Any help or advice is very welcomed. Thanks in advance 8D

<DIV>If you want to reduce the length of your battles I would go with a high dps type like Wizzy.   If you want to increase survivability or plan on recruiting dps when necessary then go for the support classes like bards and enchanters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have tried Illusionist, Dirge and Conjurer with my Zerker and Fury and found that I prefered the extra dps of the Conjurer most in terms of improving playability/saving time.  If your Bruiser/Fury duo already has enough dps for you then an enchanter or bard would be perfect.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Among the high dps classes I would steer clear of the scouts (if you want easier control) since they are harder to manage with their positional attacks etc.  Suggest you look through the spell lists on the various class boards to see which abilities would work well combined with a Bruiser and Fury.  Would help to choose whether you want more single target dps or encounter dps since one class is usually stronger ie. Wizard = single, Warlock = encounter. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<div></div>For that combo, I would probably go with an illusionist. The pow regen is very useful, as well as the many stuns and stifles which can help for that spike damage. While the fury has her HoT going, stun the mob until the bruiser has his health back to full. It is pretty  common to find  classes to fill up the dps spots, and the bruiser does really nice damage already. It also compliments the bruiser buffing dps with the illusionist buffing haste.<div></div><p>Message Edited by gelinx on <span class=date_text>10-11-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:18 AM</span>

Bard or Chanter surely??Dirge/Troub - you can drag around as a buffer and barely touchOr you can use Chanter/Troub more actively for Mezing as well.<div></div>

Troub would be a horrible choice for mezzing, it last 3-5 secs.  If (like in the other thread) you have somebody else playing, go coercer/illusionist, if not go spoony bard for a tag along<div></div>

<P>My personal choice ..Dirge hands down. More bang with less involvement. Dirge has great stat buffs, mana regen, has a 30% (M1) dps mod, Stoneskin is an anlways up chance to absorb any melee hit you recieve, and Blade Chime is great short duration 50% haste and 100% proc. If you did nothing but have the dirge on follow and popped blade chime when it was up..you would see a major boost to dps.</P>
